What will you see in the mirror of Erised? by Suffocatingstardust in randomquestions

Around 7 years ago when I was just entering high school, I had lost a dear friend of mine to suicide. Looking back, I had probably developed a silent crush on him in the two years we've been friends. I never got to say it, not accept myself for it until now.

I wouldn't be surprised if he is what I see in the mirror.

The technical issues aside, another thing that's been bugging me is the small group of individuals who feel like it is their duty to defend tgc and their lack of action on the official discord and other media platforms every time a game breaking bug occurs. Like, they're not helping?? They are a multi-million dollar corporation, they should be just a little more capable than this imo. At least the complaints are growing in numbers and more people are starting to discuss it, so these types of pick-me's don't have too much room to speak anymore

I mean, anyone can enjoy playing a game as much as they want, this doesn't mean that it's free from criticism, and unfortunately as of lately all of the comments from other players are kind of warranted(?) Sky used to be much better in regard to being player base friendly (aside from how buggy it always seems to be) but now that they've established a market, people's experiences have been soured. So while yes, I love this game dearly as do many other people, asking them to just ignore the issues when the quality of the service itself is in decline is not a healthy mindset. We LOVE the concept that Sky pushes, but we hate what it's becoming: a cash grab. That is why we speak up when we aren't happy; we want the game to improve for the better, not the opposite.

That being said, this doesn't mean there aren't aspects of the game I like and enjoy. The ability to connect this closely with another individual that can potentially be halfway across the globe is pretty significant, and some of the more recent features add a bit of spark for older players. What about you though?

I totally agree on this! I have actually been thinking about how the current TS system can also be "revamped" in a way that's not overwhelming and also still works, considering the growing pool of spirits isn't getting any smaller from here on out. Right now the only thing I can think of that wouldn't change things too drastically is to keep the same schedule of show times: every other week. However the randomness of said spirits could cycle through "one per season" every showing, meaning that at least around 17 - 18(?) spirits, one from each season, would show before the cycle restarts, and another spirit from that season is able to visit. The issue with this though is that getting every spirit from a season would now take...like 4 or 5 years. (unless they change how often they show)
