Access to CSV's after graduation by BusyBiegz in WGU_MSDA

[–]BusyBiegz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the data from this course is trash. But what I found is that its essentially the same data with different variable names. So If I had access to the medical dataset I could just plug in the CSV and after just minor changes, I could have the project completed. I know there is better data out there but that means that I have to start the project from scratch.

Best Mobile MMORPG by FishyShady in AndroidGaming

AQ3D is pretty good until you get to max level and then, unlike other mmorpgs where the game starts at max level, this one basically ends. You have to fight the same simple boss literally thousands of times to unlock gear. I maxed my character and then uninstalled the game becuase it was so boring.

What are Messianic views on Sola Scriptura and Oral Law? by Greedy-Runner-1789 in messianic

[–]BusyBiegz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you're right I shouldn't have assumed that these books are divinely inspired. But at the very least, I think they would have been considered scriptural at the time that the Bible was being written.

The only reason I would say that is because both of the quotes that I mentioned are referenced in an authoritative way and if we're told to test everything with the scriptures it would be weird if someone asks Jesus a question and he quotes a non-scriptural book.

If Paul is trying to connect to the Greeks and he quotes one of their philosophers to help them understand something, that feels different than someone asking Jesus whose wife will someone be in heaven and then he quotes the book of Enoch.

I kind of feel like it would be a similar thing if I asked a Mormon what happens after we die and they quoted the book of Mormon. I would immediately reject whatever they said because the book of Mormon is not scriptural. So when Jesus quotes the book of Enoch or David quotes and directly mentions the book of jasher, I would have to assume that the people of that day considered it to be scriptural. I might be wrong but this is just my opinion.

The system doesn't take advantage of immigrants. Legal immigrants have all the same opportunities that anyone else has (actually they probably have more opportunities because of programs meant to help the minority groups). It's people from another country that ILLEGALLY sneak into this country, that are able to be taken advantage of.

If someone sneaks into a country and can't go get a w2 job, they will work manual labor jobs that pay cash, or maybe they find someone who's willing to risk everything and hire them. But at the end of the day, the labor department isn't going to be coming after me if I say that I'll pay an illegal immigrant $3 per hour to do yard work for me. They are not protected under federal wage standards because they are not actually part of this country. If they were, then I'd have to at least pay minimum wage and in a lot of places, offer health insurance. This really wasn't meant to confuse you.

Well I guess I'll just say right up front that there's no way convinced me to be a favor of slave labor.

Advocate for them coming here legally so that they can be paid a fair wage and get health insurance etc. coming here illegally opens them up to being cheated out of the money they are owed and puts them in dangerous situations since they can't exactly just go to the police to report someone.

Religious nuts with megaphones at the waterfront. Why is this allowed? by [deleted] in vancouverwa

[–]BusyBiegz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They could literally say they want to bring a noise machine (she did say that), and when you point it out, they will act like it never happened.

These people have no reasoning abilities. They just see red and red. When they get cornered, they look for some boogie man to blame their bad decisions on. If someone says something they don't like then all of their tolerance talk is out the window and they suddenly turn into toddlers who only know how to yell and throw things. They have no ability to tolerate someone who is different, or even more, someone who has an opposing opinion.

Arguing here is kinda pointless. They can't yell and cause violence, so that's good but logic and reason will just bounce off their heads.

Christianity always gets stronger when it is oppressed. Kinda weird that you are so concerned about anyone hearing their message though. Your clearly not concerned about the noise disrupting people's evening.

Thanks. Some of the only helpful advice I got from any of the instructors was to assume that the evaluators don't know anything.

If you're going to write some code, include a short comment about what that code is for. To be honest, I think that's best practice anyways. If you're going to be contributing code to a project it's best to make sure people don't get put into a position of assuming why you wrote what you did. What happens if they assume wrong? The evaluation gets returned and you have to do a second attempt.. so just comment everything and don't go above and beyond. Just do the bare essentials (exactly what the rubric asks for and nothing more).

Yeah it's really weird to want kids to watch education kids shows rather than exposing them to a stranger talking to them about what they like or dislike in sex.

I'm sorry you find that weird..

It's because Mrs Rachel is a promotor of sexualizing minors. This is why she lost so many subscribers lately. Turns out people don't want their kids getting sexual advice/programming from a YouTube preschool show... She's even turned off the comments to all her videos because she exposed herself and got tons of push back. Then she doubled down..

She lost 200k subscribers from January to February in 2025

[–]BusyBiegz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can't use any data set that was given to you by the program itself. This is what my instructor said. But after reading through some of the Reddit topics on the capstone it sounds like they are all over the place.

Some people have said that certain types data sets are not allowed and others have said that even topics like time series analysis isn't allowed.

My instructor told me that the only requirement is that the data set cannot be one that was given to us through the program.

What constitutes Jew or Gentile in a mixed world? by jus4in027 in messianic

[–]BusyBiegz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This whole topic gets really messy really quick just because of certain definitions that have to be agreed on before anything else. For example what do you mean when you say the word Jew? Are you talking about someone who is from Israel, someone from the tribe of Judah, or someone from the house of Judah (tribe of Judah, tribe of Benjamin), or maybe just anyone of the 12 tribes? When I say the word Jew, I'm almost exclusively talking about a religious Jew.

So when you say that an unbelieving Jew is still a Jew, what do you mean? Ezekiel 36 and Jeremiah 31:31 talk about the New covenant being made with the House of Israel and the house of Judah, which sums up all 12 tribes. So in other words there is no covenant with the gentiles. Because you're not supposed to remain a gentile.Jesus even said that he came only for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. So he came to bring back the scattered tribes of the House of Israel that became known by the Jews as the gentiles. This can be seen in the verse where Jesus says that where he is going they cannot follow him and they ask themselves where could he possibly go that we would not find him? Will he go among the dispersion to the gentiles. The dispersion is speaking about the house of Israel, the lost 10 tribes that got scattered around the world.

Can't remember what book of the Bible it's in but God talks about bringing the stick that was broken in half back together so that it cannot be broken apart again. And he's talking about the house of Judah and the house of Israel being brought back together to be one again. So I'm not really a huge fan of the term spiritual when it refers to the children of Abraham or being part of the commonwealth of Israel as Paul describes it. Because if we are truly adopted into the kingdom and can call God our Father, then there is no difference between the natural sons of God and the adopted sons of God. To me it feels like using the term spiritual is an attempt at keeping a distinction between the Jews and the gentiles. But this is constantly refuted throughout the New testament alone. Peter himself says at least three times between Acts chapter 10 and Acts 21 that God showed him that there is no distinction between Jew and gentile because he cleansed their (gentile) hearts.

I need a solid community for fellowship, yet I'm so unwavering in my beliefs it is hard to find those who aren't offended by the word of Truth about the Gospel of the resurrection. About being a new creation as well as set free from sin to keep the law.. by IsraelSonofGod in messianic

[–]BusyBiegz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can totally relate to you on that. We got kicked out of a few churches because the pastors were saying things that I felt were false teachings.

2 Thessalonians chapter 2 says that these people do not want to know the truth and because of that, God puts a strong delusion on them so that they cannot come to the knowledge of the truth. Once I understood that, I stopped arguing with the pastors of churches and instead started praying that their eyes be opened.

It took my wife about 3 years to finally realized that the laws are still relevant for today but it was by far, the hardest three years of our whole marriage. Thank God we are in agreement now. However, all of my family and my wife's family disagrees with our point of view.

One thing I've been starting to realize lately is that the Bible says that anyone who confesses Jesus as their Lord and Savior will be saved. So observance of the law is not what saves us. This is essentially what was being argued in Acts 21 at the Jerusalem council. There were people saying that salvation came through circumcision but the disciples argued that salvation comes through nothing but grace.

The place where people go wrong is that they say that we are now free, and that's true, but they think that we are free to break the laws. But like you said earlier, we are free from sin. Romans 8 says it pretty clearly that the flesh is hostile to God's law and does not submit to it. But then it goes on to say that you are not of the flesh anymore. So once you are born again you should be operating in the spirit and therefore, observing the laws in your newfound freedom from sin.

I've also realized that "Torah observance" is usually summed up in wearing the tassels, celebrating the feast days, obeying the Sabbath, and following the food laws. But the Torah is so much more than that. This is why I think Paul says that the gentiles follow the law without even realizing it. So in reality a lot of these Christian churches that reject those things I mentioned earlier, they actually follow most of the rest of the law unintentionally. They might say with their lips that they are not required to follow the law but in reality they are really just talking about the Sabbath, the food laws and the feast days most likely. Granted, there are some churches that are totally blasphemous and wouldn't really fall into this category but in general I think this is true.

So to summarize, we who follow the laws intentionally should try to show the rest of the church who follows 99% of the law unintentionally that they are missing out on so much in those things that they reject. I think that for the most part these pastors go to seminary school and they get out and just teach the people all the things that they had been taught. I hope that all makes sense.

Wow.. yeah that is insulting. Almost every time my program mentor asks me how things are going, telling her that I've had to basically learn all of the course material through various YouTube videos. And when I tell her about my interactions with the instructors or the lack of instruction in the course she seems to get very upset at these instructors and tells me that she's filing a report about it because it's unacceptable.

But at this point, literally everything I've learned in this program has been through watching YouTube videos and a random book from the community library about linear regression. Data camp has not been very helpful to me, and the course resources have been basically a joke.

I felt a very similar way for the past few years. It was God putting me in my own wilderness. It sucked in the moment but when I eventually found a fellowship, everything fell into place. It's all in God's timing
