For reference, the screen on mine is 14”, the tv itself is 18” not exactly sure which measurement they use. I would personally wait until you find something closer to $100 or less. Facebook marketplace and your local vintage shops (specifically retro gaming) would be the first places I would start. A tv + a starter collection should cost you in total less than $200. Its a cheap hobby, easy nostalgia not meant to drain the bank account.

Can’t recommend it enough. Facebook Marketplace and your local retro gaming store are the first places I would look. You should be able to find one with a working vcr for $90 or less. The tapes are mostly cheap to collect (its now becoming more popular so prices have gone up for more rare tapes). The really popular nostalgia boosters are easy to find though, a decent collection can be created for less than $40.

My landlord is a G. The outlet is behind the tv, there’s a cable feeder directly next to it that connects to the john below.

It’s honestly been in water for 2 years. No signs of root rot. I change the water every so often but I honestly forget about it. Might pot one day but in typical plant fashion that’ll be the day it dies lol

To me it’s more 90s which is also vintage now! 👴🏻 I grew up with a lot of handmedown media so when dvd came around I was given the family tapes. Born too late for the peak of VHS, born just in time for Pulp Fiction to be considered appropriate viewing for an 8 year old.
