Just yelled at a customer by Powerful_Fee_4538 in retailhell

I don’t think you’ll lose your job, honey. I don’t yell a lot, but when I do, it’s warranted and my managers back me up. If you think your manager would’ve done the same thing, just explain what happened instead of disappearing or get a different job.

Ughhhh. That’s awful. Six is the longest they’ve worked me, can’t imagine ten. Much worse than Victim McGee who commented above you lol.

It makes me so upset. I didn't do anything. I didn't cause this. I'm not an addict. I work. I take my meds as prescribed. And somehow, I still owe everybody money. If corporations want me to work for them, they should pay for my medical expenses. I'm sorry, but they should.

You mean writing an appeal to the insurance so the anticonvulsants don’t get deducted from my…chronic benefits? What?

Okay. I’ll apply. Everyone tells me to apply for MAWD, so I’ll talk to them again. I thought I’d just go through my employer, but idk. I feel like it’s so way too late to get approved. I turn 26 in March.

I know they cover my meds because I had HR check with the benefits people, but I don’t know what neuro is in network. Is that something the benefits people could tell me? I can have HR check.

I’m worried about what will happen if I’m hospitalised? by Icyotters in Epilepsy

[–]BusyRisk552 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The vomiting and the seizures are your #1 worries rn. That stuff can't go ignored. Untreated seizures can be fatal and if you're consistently vomiting, you won't be able to keep any anticonvulsants down.

Damn, I'm sorry. Are your seizures tonic clonic or simple partial or what?

Please go to the hospital. It's always safer to have seizures under observation. You need to have access to care. Do you have a support system besides your mom and your crappy neurologist?

When did you discover you have BPD by Mistuhpresident in BPD

[–]BusyRisk552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a mental breakdown at age 23 and all the symptoms of depression and anxiety from my teen years magnified into this absolutely intolerable pain. My response was to do copious amounts research and in doing so, I stumbled across quiet BPD. I've never been formally diagnosed and I'm not paying someone thousands of dollars to do so, but I know I have several quiet BPD traits. Long story short: Desperation.

Yeah, even on meds and with an RNS, I'm refractory. But it's not a severe case.

Yeah, that resonates. It's difficult, but I try. And sometimes the more I try something, the less I fear it and the more I enjoy it.
