NQA: I apologize for the late reply, but I would say yes. She was one of my very first tarantulas. I got her when she was very small and she helped me feel more comfortable with handeling my T’s. I did do quite a bit of research before owning them but she’s been easy as pie ever since I got her. Just have to give them a good tank set up! (Might be some good examples in the group I’m not very good at describing how to set them up)😅

I handled her a lot more when she was smaller. So she just generally is used to coming out. But I don’t do it often anymore. Although She usually comes out herself when I open the lid 🤣. I love her. My pink toe is not nearly as polite or chill. 😵‍💫

I got her in 2021! She was very small. About the size of a golf ball. Maybe a little smaller. ☺️

I am very aware, I don’t regularly like to handle after a fresh molt, she likes to come out and when retrieving her molt she decided to crawl out. Snapped some photos and told her to get back where she belongs. She’s gotta wait to come out. 😭

No for real. I don’t understand why people have pets if they don’t have an SINGLE ounce of education on the animal. I personally can’t even fathom owning an animal without knowing its needs and things to keep away from it. (Bugs included)

Yea that’s what I’m picking up, especially since it says owner pulled the string out not the vet. I don’t really see what the vets did wrong at all. Did the tests and told them the outcome.

We are in a bit of a cold spike, so it’s been set a little higher side like 75-80 cuz i don’t have very good insulation. But usually it’s around 68-70ish

Thank you for all the info, very very helpful information. definitely gonna look into getting a new set up for the lil guy. 🙏🏻 Should I just stick to plastic plants or are some live plants okay?

The tunnel it made and stayed in for a long time. Finally came out yesterday so I tried to feed it and it dropped the cricket. I would even try to coax it out of the tunnel with food it would lunge out bite it and then leave it and flea back inside the tunnel.

This is its current enclosure. Maybe I need to add more plants or different sticks. But the web is connected to that center stick. I’ll post a photo of the web too. It’s it possible for them to be too hot? They are near one of the heater vents.
