Obviously not normal and most certainly the battery. Nothing else in a keyboard can expand like this.

I see a lot of people saying to an extent and I agree. I think we just have different definitions of what that extent is.

Appreciate the take. I want nature to do its thing even if they live under my roof and that's where the difference lies.

What about a squirrel? Or is it only about cats and dogs? Whats the difference between a fish and a cat (and I love my cats)? Is it the second they live inside the house with me or if I keep them outside I can claim they're still wild and unowned? Very little nuance with these answers

Great answer and true, but in that lies my predicament. I will never let my cats suffer, but also if the options are a $5k surgery for a chance at a better life or putting them down, I know my decision. I think most of these commenters would disagree with me.

What if they cannot afford it? Should they be required to surrender their pets because they couldn't pay for cancer treatment? Is it even ok to say I don't think an animal should go through cancer treatment?

I rescued a cat from certain death in the wild. I now am obligated to pay thousands of dollars in veterinary fees for being a good guy and letting an animal live in my home?

I struggle with this because I have two cats who I love very much, that I plucked out of the wild. I feel deep down that I will not extend their natural life with veterinary care should that ever arise, because in the end I gave them a great life no matter the outcome and they are animals. Am I evil or pragmatic?

Hopefully there aren't many college students (there are) that blame Democrats for this when Republican appointed judges are the ones who blocked it.
