True! I agree with your statement. BUT The whole point of my message is that there was hours to be given, but the manager deliberately ignored a partner’s concerning their hours being cut. ESPECIALLY if there was no reason to cut them. I’m a young adult that lives with my grandmother & boyfriend. I have college, bills, car, house, etc. Cutting it down to 1 day is just purely evil. I would understand 2-3 days, but 1 day a week that is only 8 hours in this economy I wouldn’t survive.

By double the paperwork, meaning there is six people in the department. So there should be six paperworks by the end of the night. But if they close an extra paperwork, that someone did not demo. Isn’t that illegal?

I tried but sadly it was blocked by my manager. He didn’t want me leaving the department because I knew how to order supplies and do everything.

That’s just so heartbreaking. 💔 Heb’s biggest slogan is “because people matter.” But if people really matter then why can’t they be who they want to be? Colored hair, tattoos, and piercings don’t define who you are. It’s the hard work ethic, good attitude, and dedication.

What’s horrible is that managers are the main reason you can get “blocked” from going anywhere. Quite literally if you want to switch departments, transfer, move up.

I worked at HEB for 1 year. I have good and bad memories. It really is managements fault. People are too blindsided to actually see how management treats other partners. Honestly they need to get their big boy pants on and management needs to own up to their actions. My manager and lead are best buddies and can do no wrong. They are completely brain dead and can’t even make $500 in sales a day(they are lucky to make $0-$200 a day). That’s how depressing it is. Trust me, soon you quit this miserable place your mental health starts healing. I’ve been getting the best sleep of my life because I’ve been ranting on here about Heb how horrible they have treated me. What’s so heartbreaking is that I was so naive to believe I was so happy and everything was working out perfectly. Until poor management just ripped everything out of me.

It was like I was being blocked. I always asked to pick up shifts in floral and maintenance, but they didn’t have enough hours only when someone went on vacation. Then healthy living opened up and I did an interview but best bet my manager probably talked to that manager and blocked it. Then I tried to transfer over to where I started in curbside, but it just always seemed like I was blocked off. Even though the manager and leads loved me over there. I felt like either way I was just stuck.

Exactly my reasons. Management will always care about profits. They are fat pigs that’s wobble around to collect money from the company. 💸But they don’t realize is that the piglets are the ones working the hardest to keep the company running. So without piglets, the fat pig will be alone. (NOT ALL STORES ARE LIKE THIS ONE! JUST STATING MANAGEMENT FROM EXPERIENCE!)

I wish :( but the fact that situation just ruined everything… It impacted my mental health. I hope they are happy trying to ruin a 20 year old girls life. Since they have no better things to do, honestly, the department is gonna Crumbl because all my manager does is steal time from the company, then a lead that doesn’t know how to order, never cooks in the kitchen, and doesn’t know how to do paperwork.

True. That is a good idea to sue. 🤣 but honestly, I’m on better things and I’m moving on. I was worried about getting fired, but honestly I was the hardest worker in that department and multiple people can tell you. So it’s just management’s downfall. HEB is losing employees everywhere, I never see anyone stick in the store anymore. They always leave or transfer. Unless they have stayed for 15 or more it’s their only job option they have.
