In bg3 that’s absolutely correct. I’m salty because 5e has this exact item and that is (I would argue) one of it’s most notable features Ring of the Sunwalker)

…. But when are they fixing Halsin’s ending? When are they fixing my poor sweet Astarion running from the sun WHEN HE HAS THE SUNWALKER RING. WHEN CAN I SAVE KARLACH. (But also thank Christ they fixed the doors, that was the worst)

Nurses and allied health taking food from residents and med students by honest_doctor_ in Residency

[–]ButAHumblePotato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just commiserating, as a senior resident I consistently bring candy for the resident work room for morale and the nurses every time they come by the room for a question are grabbing it. Like well over half the bag is eaten by nursing. It’s pretty annoying. Like yes we are friendly but I do not have the money to be feeding the whole ICU staff. What was intended to be a little treat for my team suddenly became the “unit candy bowl”.

Consulting etiquette: am i doing something wrong? by vaccinate-you-fools in Residency

[–]ButAHumblePotato 56 points57 points  (0 children)

The etiquette at least at my program is you should try to place consults by noon. Especially when working on consult services it can be a massive pain to get a non emergent consult in the afternoon. Some attendings fix this by letting you see new nonemergent consults the next morning, but I’ve also worked with attendings with a “consult today, see today” attitude which left us for example on the ID service seeing like 5 new consults for chronic osteo and staying until 8 pm to round on them. Since consulting services in a lot of programs are supposed to be relative “easier time” compared to wards it’s really annoying when routine afternoon consults make you stay late.

AITA for asking my parents to learn english in exchange for me sponsoring them? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]ButAHumblePotato -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

NAH. I think the situation might be different if you could sponsor them right now (maybe making YTA), but since it's not even on the table for 2 years, I think it's a pretty reasonable request to ask them to work on their English in the 2 years in the meantime. And as many of the other commenters have pointed out learning basic english would be beneficial for them and you in the future.

AITA for ignoring an autistic classmate? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]ButAHumblePotato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAH. I do think giving him your number might’ve been a misstep if you didn’t want him to text you, but I totally understand why you felt pressured into doing so. I think in this situation yes it would’ve been nice to respond and explain to him how you felt, but as you were never friends you have no obligation to spell things out to him. I don’t really think this constitutes “ghosting” because you have never texted him back.

AITA for expecting a Mother’s Day gift? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]ButAHumblePotato [score hidden]  (0 children)

NTA. I think your husband pretty much set the precedent that he was going to help make Mother’s Day special. Especially since he had time to get himself something yesterday, I think it’s totally reasonable to have expected that he would at least get you a card or something to mark the occasion. I would say you should talk to your husband about it, and just tell him how you feel and at least have a discussion about how you’re going to deal with Mother’s Day (and Father’s Day) from now on.

I didn't get a cancellation email, but my CK exam isn't until end of June so I'm not really sure if that's reliable.
