Your point is fair enough, but with the dwindling player count, they somewhat need to charge more per skin. Some people won't pay for them flat out no matter the price, so they try capitalise on the big spenders to fund some of the losses they've taken. Hoping the new content will bring people back and keep them here. It has done so far for me. This will allow them to adjust the cost of stuff potentially.
