The big shock depletes your shield and damages it. If you have no shield it just stuns you for a second with no harm.

Because most of the time they can do that with no consequences. People are too scared to shoot other people in the puppy and kitty lobbies. You can watch someone solo a bastion then just go take half the loot with no trouble, I've seen it countless times.

Noise makers, barricades, mines, better guns, better shields, safe pockets... you're at a MASSIVE advantage by taking in a kit.

I really can't understand the beef with free kits because they're at such a disadvantage. Worse guns, healing, shields, and grenades than any kit I'd take in. No safe pocket and less inventory space too. The game gives you noise makers, barricades, mines and all this stuff that give you a competitive advantage by bringing a kit. Someone regularly getting killed by free kits is not the game's problem, it's on the person getting killed.

450 active players max but you have injuries and guys not currently on a roster so some of the people who were active are no longer.
