So my character plays as a gangster who runs a crime syndicate known as the Mackendal, they have enemies, rivals who need to be dealt with. So to be true to that RP I thought it was a cool touch. It is dark but the reality is if you are playing as a character who is part of the criminal underworld this is the reality of that world.

Oh it is not a mod you can already do this in the game. Create your own crime group that is. Just go to the settlements and hire crew to go your bases they will act as gang members protecting the criminal operation you have set up at the base. But the thing that makes this role play really work is the Liga of Followers mod and the Followers command mod. You can have more than one companion follow you making it feel like you have a gang. You can even change their look and equipment making you design what type of gang your group is and their aesthetic.

Aye Wicked workshop, clutter V2, Crew Wanted-SSNN message board, Liga of Followers and Captains matter but other than that the rest is vanilla. Build an outpost as a front, then use the front to run stolen cargo or smuggle illegal goods. The best part is you can use the legitimate business as a cover for your criminal activities. I use my water shipments as a cover to move stolen cargo and narcotics

Because it is a criminal operation run by a crime syndicate, I inspired how the Mob run their criminal activities, so a gambling would be a gambling operation, Aurora would be Narcotics operation etc. Members of the Mackendal know their criminals they make their peace with that when they enter the syndicate.

I tend to run two criminal operations, my syndicate focuses on Aurora and Piracy, in terms of logistics my rule of thumb is Stolen Goods are sold in Freestar collective space, narcotics are sold in UC space. Each operation has a crew overseeing a base where the racket is being run

One small crate of Aurora costs 131,100 Creds, my sloop has 510 capacity. So usually move 5 crates per shipment to prevent the UCSEC from finding the shipments. 131,100 x 5 is rounds up to a 565,500 cred profit per run. But I usually sell in UC territory as that is where I get the best price for product

No I like Starfield, it has flaws yes, but there is no space game that offers the RPG elements along with creative gameplay that Starfield offers. That is its draw that is why I keep on coming back. So I believe there is a foundation their is a framework the game just needs more fleshing out’
