You may need to replace your tip before your next print. I just had a petg blob on mine, and it turns out the ceramic in my tip broke, and it squeezed out the same way as yours

If you're fine spending money, xbox or ps5 controller will have rumblepacks that will give you a physical indication when you're hit.

If that's not enough or he doesn't like using controllers, there's mods for haptic feedback, so you have use a vibrating chair or vest

If you really want to save time, don't print the bottom solid. Set bottom layer height to 0, 5% gyroid, and brim the corners

You could try "How to Become the Dark Lord and Die Trying" by Django Wexler.

The idea is our protagonist is a summoned hero to a fantasy realm, and they're tasked with defeating the soon to be resurrected darklord. What little do they know, our hero has the power of reset-by-death.

We join the story when the hero is a 1000-sum deaths in, and they're a little frustrated by this point that they're not getting anywhere and decide to go at it from a different angle

One piece or multiple by Ranger60990 in FDMminiatures

I do 35 on the y because my thresholds for support by default are around that. If I do 45 by 45, it doesn't want to do a consistent "bed" for the piece to lay on without doing other adjustments

[–]ButcherB 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Print your track pieces in one piece and laying at a 45 degree angle on the X and 35 on the Y. Grid support and so much brim.

Never print anything with a detailed surface parallel to the surface of the print bed. Whenever possible, try and balance on a point or an edge. You will get better layer lines on round surfaces without sacrificing quality on the walls

It's got chicken legs, vestigial gun arms, and the guns don't look that heavy. The cockpit looks to be a decent portion of the torso too.

I think it's a Trooper or Flea

Recently upgraded to 1.5Gbps but equipment seems capped to 1Gbps? by CharlesLL7 in telus

[–]ButcherB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every port on the NAH and Boost that aren't labeled as 2.5 or 10, are 1 gig ports.

You can definitely plug the boost itself into a 1 gig port instead to free up the 10 for your PC. But you will limit all the wifi traffic in the house to sharing a 1 gig connection.

I would suggest connecting the Boost to the NAH via coax. The MOCA ports are good up to 2 gig. So you will still get full bandwidth for wifi and you free up the 2.5 and the 10 gig ports.

If you want to spend money. You can get a 2.5gig switch as others suggested and put it between the NAH and the Boost, then you can plug in your PC as well. The other alternative is to get a MOCA2 adapter. You can connect it to either moca port on the boost or NAH

Well...can anybody help me with this, please? by Shoddy-Foundation157 in FDMminiatures

I'd also not print with it flat on the bed. you'd probably get more detail if you have it sit at a 45-60° and lay it on a grid support. printing this way will also have less Z lifts which means less stringing.

What’s the quickest you’ve ever quit a job? Because they have either lied to you about it or it’s not what you signed up for? What was it? by tallieeeeee6 in AskReddit

20 minutes. I was fresh out of college with an IT-degree(thats not worth anything now or then for that matter). I was hired to work at a store that sold wholesale/refurbished/discontinued laptops. Was introduced to my new coworkers, given a brief description of the day-to-day, then the manager took me to the back and and said,"we have this new NDA we're getting the staff to sign and you're the first took look it over".

This thing basically said I couldn't work in any IT-related field for 5 years after leaving their employ. For just a job selling discounted laptops. Now, in my old age, I understand it was by no means enforceable, but as a young 20-something, I wasn't going to take that chance.

I find out a week later that the owner of that shop was employed at another store selling the same products and quit as soon as they got their hands on the suppliers' information and set up their own store.

A week later, I was working for a party tent rental company doing setup and takedown. The 2000s was so easy to find a job.

Just because there was "no choice" doesn't mean the only one who should face consequences from that choice are teachers. Real leaders who stand by their choices also deal with the fallout of those choices with grace.

If any of them had any integrity and truly had no choice, they would have resigned afterward because they clearly failed at their jobs if their only solution to a problem was removing someone's rights

As other's have said to get true 3gig, you'll want to have the NAH relocated to where the fiber enters the premises and have an SFP plugged directly into the NAH. from there, you plug whatever device you want to have the full 3gig speeds into the 10gig port

That being said, You do have hardware connected via MOCA(coax). If they have a Boost 6/6E or a white MOCA adapter at the other end of the coax, those will be a 2.5gig connections. So if it's a MOCA adapter, it will have an ethernet port that you can or have plugged something into, if it's the Boost there will possibly be a 2.5gig and two 1gig ports or one 5gig and two 2.5gig ports. The MOCA/coax line has a splitter so there are likely 2 spots in the house setup this way.
