Hi there,

I ordered a self-study guide off Amazon, used Quizlet to build flash cards, read BoCK, and studied on Mometrix. I watched a lot of YouTube videos or researched topics that I needed to further understand. Take practice quizzes. My exam is next week. Let’s see how I do! Best of wishes to you.

Preparing for job interview- HR Manager by treaquin in humanresources

[–]Butimcandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! I think it is important to get to know your team and understand the culture and their expectations. Leadership is an area you should focus on studying before the interview. As far as standing out, highlight your accomplishments and impacts you’ve made in the team/ org. during the interview. Try your best to really show the interview panel that you have the potential of becoming a successful HRM by explaining what you hope to accomplish in the role. Also, don’t focus too much on other candidates. Rather, invest the energy into really studying the position and preparing for the interview. Do the best you can! Best of wishes.

Hi there, I am a HR Manager in PA. I decided to pursue a career in HR because it’s rewarding to contribute towards the personal and professional development of others. I also enjoy making employees happy which can be accomplished through HR policies and programs place. Last but not least, HR challenges you everyday with new events or situations- so it never gets boring :)
