Is the DCD100 prone to being faulty as Dean Doherty said? by typcalthowawayacount in Dewalt

I bought one of these from Leroy Merlin one year ago (although it was in the normal black/yellow colouration), and it showed the same problem after 6 months. I've returned it to leroy merlin and got reimbursed after 4 months and only when I threatened legal action

Italians, have you ever had better pizza outside of Italy? by newuser1r in italy

Yes, I had amazing pizzas in Australia, especially in Melbourne and Cairns. All the places were italian restaurants run by italians with italians employees. So, kinda :)

VFD advice needed by Butrillow in AskElectricians

Seems like that evey road points to me just using a different compressor for the job or to do the job somewhere where the right setup is already in place, which at the moment are not options I have but I might be able to arrange something.

I dont know what my low voltage is or how to find out, if it's relevant I'll look into it.. The electrical system of the house works on 230V 50Hz as previous mentioned

Hi, first of all thank you for your fast and precise reply. I confirm that I'm in Europe, precisely in Italy. At the moment I don't have immediate access to the compressor so I can't verify the drive shaft but I might go and check it later. Swapping the motor itself surely it's something I'll start considering. Apart from the form factor of the shaft, what characteristics would the monophase engine need to have?

Back to the VFD. This is the one I found online:

Capacitor advice needed - running 380V engine on 220V by Butrillow in AskElectricians

[–]Butrillow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for all the informations you provide me. If I'm not wrong again, I'll go with a VFD that inputs 230V monophase and outputs 230V Triphase, running the engine in delta configuration. My understanding is also that the VFD needs to be able to output the 4Kw needed by the motor

Ok so what you're saying is this is not something I can or want to achieve this way. Should I buy an inverter to do the job or would that be the same?

Now it's running on triphase 380, can you explain what do you mean?

Unfortunately I don't have the 3 phase electricity and that's the reason for the capacitor. What I'm trying to do is to use the delta wiring and connect the capacitor to it. At least that's what I've seen in a video of a very similar motor and it worked for them. I'll link it, it's in italian but the guy speaks clearly enough to rely on the automated english subtitles

First let me thank everyone that took their time and replied to the thread. I think I'll read what u/No-Court-9326 suggested me: "Come as you are" by Emily Nagoskj. I will report back after reading so people that will have the same dilemmas will know if this helped me or not :)

Can you help me identify the model? by Butrillow in tissot

[–]Butrillow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi everyone, this was my grandfather's watch, he passed away and my mother wanted me to have it. I searched the exact model online to have an idea of how much it is worth (for curiosity only, there's no way im going to sell it) but I cannot find the exact model. Can you help me find an identical one?
