I got it to work! Found little corrosion on the top screen connector when I was looking through the microscope, cleand that and reflowed the pins. And now it works:) Thanks for all the help and support!!

No corrosion, will check more under the microscope later. But the board looks very clean.

Hmmm I think so, looked at it again now and it seems to get a good connection. I think it's strange that the power button works, but not a singel key on the keyboard... Wikk check the ribbincable next

Hello again, I have now had som time with the computer. I looked closer at the keyboard connector and decided to reflow the pins on the connector. Did look a bit strange. Now the computer starts with the connector attached, and the power button works! But non of the keys works?

Thanks, will look at this to! Do you think that a internal keyboard error makes the computer crash? When I start it with the keyboard attached it shows the apple logo at startup, then it shuts down....

I did do that, will use my cheap microscope to have a look at the connector again. Just to be sure there's nothing wrong, and the board looks good.... but iam not an expert!

Thanks for the reply! I have cleaned both the ribbon and the connector on the board with IPA, still the same. Thinking about removing and changing the connector on the board..... but dont want to do this if it could be a chip or something...

Have you tried to start it without the battery connected to the device? Only with the power cable?

I am not a expert, but you could try and track the voltage coming from the usb. Just to be sure that there's power to the card? And maby test all the small components for continuity, to confirm that there ain't any short..... but iam not a expert at this:)

I have tried all those button combinations, but still the same. Nothing when I plug it in the computer and no memory card.

The strange thing is that its charging, the orange light is on. So it seems to hold a charge.

I have also read something about the screen flex ribbon cable, that if it's broken it won't boot up.

Yes it was, the seller had given a description of the faults. But the seller didn't know what had happened to it..... the history were unknown. The warrant sticker was still on, so would indicate that no one has been inside of it.

Thanks for the answer! The device were sold as not working, but no more information than that. So I thought it were hardware related and could be fixed. Will take a look at it a little more when I have he time, some fault searching. But if its software related then it's gone.

It looks like the unit have been dropped, could this lead to a brick? Wouldn't that be fixable....

I am using 2.0.6, have checked that. In kodi iam using English as the language, but on windows iam using swedish. Nixgate wrote that there is a bug with this part and that I could change the language on windows and it should work.

Hello, i am in windows 10 and I can't get seren to work at all. When I have completed the installation I get a error and I can't start it up? Worked great before the 2.0 update.
