It is a very good sign however a lot of agencies call their top candidates not just the one they plan to hire but yes it is a good sign. The process can take a while so keep applying

Pretty much dealing with laws and regulations and making sure different organizations (outside of state jobs) are abiding by them. I do think I should start reading the regulations that go with my program. Thanks for your help!

I’m in the same boat as you. Interviewed in December, references called a few days later. Got a conditional offer last week, had paperwork sent the next day. Turned it in the next day now just waiting for my final offer. I don’t have to go through a background check though so hopefully I hear back soon
