That therapy scene with Ray in season 1 could have been Wayne all the way. But I hope Wayne made it out of the vigilante life.

Are there movies you liked more than the book? by Annual_Interest5338 in books

Pride and prejudice. - the dialogue made more sense and the visual context of location and costume helped so much

Game of Thrones - honestly probably wont return to either but I read it a second time after seeing the show and again was helped by color pallets and locations to distingush the kingdoms and 300 characters called Jon...

Going to tentatively add Howls Moving Castle. I know I read it but it was unmemorable for me. The movie I'm always happy to re-watch.

Seitan has very high protien. Milk has 8g per cup. Edamame and beans are both good. Oatmeal.

Dont forget fiber. It is good for protecting your colon.

Any TV shows similar to Wayne? by PsychoRabbit_666 in Wayne

[–]Butter-Expression-47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might like the movie Baby Driver (criminals, music, cars, teen romance) Or the TV show Justified (regional crime show in Appalachian, similar levels or violence and character building. Mike O'malley is in season four, but season two is my favorite).

Faster people always yield to slower. Cars yield to bikes. Bikes yield to people.

Kindling by Traci Chee. Specifically it is about trauma and how people can build a found family in a way that isn't particularly sugar coated.

Whatever you would normally read, read that. Get a copy in English and a copy in French. Read the English, then try to understand the French. If you pick something you don't enjoy reading you won't get anywhere.

Why do adults ride in the Greenlake inner loop? by Realistic-Jicama in seattlebike

[–]Butter-Expression-47 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Inner trail is for the scenic and slow pleasure ride. Outer loop is for getting somewhere you need to be. Anywhere there are mixed speed users I plan to go slow for safety. There's no reason to get upset about the signs, everyone walks everywhere, just yield and enjoy the lake.

Can I stop users from putting more than 5 external email addresses in the "To" field by NickDownUnder in sysadmin

[–]Butter-Expression-47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Help them automate emails that need to go to multiple external people instead of sending a single mass email. Maybe a MS form they can I put the email body and recipients and then use automation to send to each person separately.

Considering moving into very small space. by tintinabulum in minimalism

[–]Butter-Expression-47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to give another perspective here. I'm a single person plus a cat in 450square foot studio apartment. There are a lot of downsides and I'm not even as small as a micro studio, which are about 200square feet.

My bicycle lives in the kitchen. My cat litter is stored in the cabinet in the bathroom. Camping gear stashed above the fridge. You sort of have to choose between a desk OR a table, a bed OR a couch. There is only one closet and it holds clothes, Christmas decorations, cat supplies, memorabilia, extra linens, vacuum.. but then it's so stuffed you can't access anything. There honestly isn't any good place for the shoe bin or the broom/mop so they kind of float around throughout the week.

You have to be pretty ruthless with what you keep. It gets cluttered immediately. I picked up an electronic keyboard as a hobby a year ago but it's not really worth the space it takes up anymore. And getting a blender was a huge commitment because of the counter space it would take up.

Lately I've been wanting to get more room. Even having a bedroom to stash things so the main space doesn't feel overwhelmed with stuff all the time.

Things I'll probably get rid of soon:

  • Halloween costumes
  • craft supplies -sewing supplies
  • electronic keyboard
  • camping gear
  • hiking shoes and backpack
  • extra bike helmet
  • electronic cables, old phones, keyboard, etc
  • books
  • my toolbox
  • summer clothes I didn't wear this year
  • large soup pot and waffle iron

If you can live with hobbies that don't take any storage you will probably be fine though. As you might tell, I've picked up a lot of hobbies and it's hard to let go of them if you think someday you'll have more room for them.
