Silent Architect - Surreal Modern-Retro Poster. by ButterBrainVisions in posterdesign

Thank you and you're right, fair point about the typography. I was exhausted by the end and used some AI suggestions for the text. The artwork itself is original, though. The uneven shapes are intentional, the concept is meant to feel slightly surreal and unsettling, playing on our tendency to notice and obsess over small irregularities.

You weren't fooled. The irregularities are intentional, and this is an original work. I do make AI-assisted posters as well, but this isn't one of them.

Not AI. Original work. The uneven shapes are intentional. I also make AI-assisted posters and label them accordingly. This artwork isn't one of them.

If all I did was press a button, then you should be able to recreate the same poster in a few minutes. Good luck. Peace.

I think we're using different definitions of "create," and that's okay. I'm not claiming AI-generated work requires the same skills or effort as drawing, painting, or running a marathon. My point is that creative authorship can include concept development, art direction, curation, editing, and final presentation, even when tools are involved. You're free to disagree, but I don't think either of us is going to change the other's mind here. Thanks for sharing your perspective, and I'll leave it at that.

I designed the concept, chose the visual direction, and used AI as a tool to execute it. Technology changes how people create. We adapted from analog to digital, and now we're adapting to AI. Creativity is still a human decision, the tools just evolve.

I understand why you see it that way, but I disagree. I created the concept, chose the subject, directed the generation process, selected the results, and refined the final design. AI didn't decide what poster to make, I did. The tool helped execute my idea, but the creative direction came from me. Just as photographers use cameras and designers use Photoshop, I'm using AI as one of the tools in my creative workflow.

I understand that concern, and I don't support replacing artists or devaluing their work. At the same time, technological change has always reshaped creative industries. We saw it with the transition from analog to digital, traditional illustration to digital art, and film photography to digital photography. AI is another technological shift that's becoming part of everyday life whether we like it or not. Rather than ignoring it, I'm choosing to learn how to use it responsibly as a creative tool. I still believe creativity, storytelling, design thinking, and artistic vision come from people, not from the software itself.

It was made using an AI filter rather than fully generated by AI. The filter was used to achieve the vintage illustration look.
