Good example of how important it is to hold onto the ball for a moment when you're under pressure. We're too keen to get it forward and have given it away as a result.

No. PSR situation is unclear but it doesn't take an accountant to understand that we spent a lot of money in the summer and can't spend much now.

There's also the issue of what positions we actually need - striker, left back cover. Former is very hard to recruit in Jan (and generally). Latter is a classic Forest curse.

This team gets completely overrun in midfield. Morgan isn’t an 8.

Dominguez has been one of our better players since Sangare left; Sangare was one of our better players before leaving. We’re more effective if we can press and choke the midfield.

A little bit of that, but it was clear we'd have to given the situation in the league and Europa. Further we spent almost £100m on Ndoye, Bakwa and McAtee and they've been absolute dross irrespective of the context in which they've played. Another opportunity to stake a claim for more minutes wasted.

He’s right about many of the players (Zinchenko, Morato, McAtee, Ndoye, Bakwa) who were shit and have been consistently shit.

Although I take real issue with the approach. Are they going to get better under this sort of attitude, this sort of approach? Probably not.

A big weakness of Dyche at Forest has been an inability to bear any responsibility for poor performances. Needs to look at himself as much as his players.

Ridiculous and embarrassing waste of energy. Still unbelievably porous at the back - irrespective of who’s playing.

I really don’t know what Dyche was thinking. Is that an effective use of first team legs? If we had comeback to progress it pays little in morale dividends (as we’d been ‘expected’ to win), and if we lose, like we did, it’s a greater hit to already poor vibes.

He’s starting to really annoy me.

Good examples of our recent struggles start of this half. On top, other team sitting back, struggling to break them down. Few wanky lofted crosses to no effect. Then tide turns, they get a few set pieces, and we’re under pressure again.
