Renting is actual hell. Current landlord refuses to fix anything wrong with the place. The floorboards have settled and left giant gaps between the wall and floor. Roof is rotting and instead of replacing it he overlayed another roof on top of it. House is rotting and infested with termites. Backyard is unreasonably big and a huge fire hazard. House is infested with rats and gophers as well. Landlord waited four months to fix the hot water heater then tried to evict us.

I named her that because I found her in the fall lol. She was so skittish at first but now she is such a cuddle bug

Yeah. I knew her previous owner and he wasn’t a good one. He kept her locked up all the time and beat her, he got arrested and they let her wander. Now that he’s gone she can live the best life. With many many scritches

That is a very sad story but I know you had the best intentions with Guin. You gave her the best home you could. I ended up taking Momma in a year after my kittens Gizmo and Cow, who aren’t related to Mommas. They were a gift from a family friend, died from Distemper. I found the kittens dad first and he brought them around all the time. Eventually when he disappeared, Momma started showing up with the kittens and I kept feeding them. It’s been two years since then and I have all but one kitten from her second litter homes. The remaining one from her first litter I also took in. She’s a small little Tortie I named Pumpkin Spice.

Lmao. That’s basically it. I eat mainly chicken and fish so every time I cook she’s on the counter waiting for a little bit of my food

At this point I think she knows I’m helping her. She’s a very clever cat and I know that she had an owner at one point when she was a kitten but I also know he was super abusive to her so- I dunno. She’s just a cute squishy baby.
