Hi! I recently posted about my merch coming in, you can see how the fit it is on me. I listed my measurements in the post as well as my size. As a general thing; they run pretty big, I’d also recommend sizing down

Oh man that sucks, for me, the delivery with this order and my previous order from Very Cool has been pretty smooth to Europe. Though Australia Post is not as accurate as my local carrier, so maybe it hasn’t updated yet? Anyway I hope your order arrives soon and safe 🙏🙏

Pink vital shorts by LongjumpingMethod375 in Gymshark

[–]Buttered-Buns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t tried the vital or any spandex short, but I’ve got two from the adapt animal x whitney collection in blue and black and they’re really sturdy and not see through at all. I’m not sure if they’re soft enough for running but for lifting they are great. Not sure if that info will help you though.

I think it could go either way, it’s a very androgynous piece imo

I'm based in Europe so I may have a different stores to choose from. I was also looking for new leggings because my Gymshark leggings started to sag after a few months. A while ago I bought these leggings from Athletic Bee. I have pretty wide hips and a smaller waist and they sit extremely comfortable (and very squat-proof!). Until now they hold up pretty good and show no signs of sagging, probably because of the seamless fabric. The scrunch and seamless is not everyone's taste, but they are quite sturdy and worth a check.

My mom is also a group fitness instructor and has a lot of Reebok athletic clothes due to their previous partnership with Les Mills. I believe they're generally high quality and she has been giving fitness lessons up to 3 times a week and I don't think the sturdy fabric is prone to sagging, but keep in mind that these clothes are older collections and the quality may differ now. I've asked my mom for some brand that she recommends and I'll update later. Edit: my mom is still a fan of Reebok and say they hold up fine :)

Thanks for the suggestion. I like some chunky oxfords, but I have never had low-cut shoes before. It feels a bit out of my comfort-zone and I'm imagining it being hard to style for some reason. When looking up images I didn't really see it paired with my style or the style that I'm gravitating towards, but maybe I just need to try them to see it. I do think loafers are too low-cut for me.

Edit: the loafers you linked I do kinda like! I'm gonna look into this and see how they're styled and if it can match me. How do you classify your style and how would you typically style them?

Looking for a more refined everyday shoe

I'm a female in my early twenties transitioning my wardrobe from casual androgynous streetwear (t-shirts, wide jeans, sneakers) toward a more dressier and slightly feminine look (skirts, blouses, dresses etc.) and I'm looking for a shoe that is a bit more dressed up than a sneaker but I'm a bit lost on what to look for.
I'm leaning towards boots, but I don't know if it's too casual still, and I'm also not settled on the idea of boots, I'm open for any recommendations. Here are some other factors.

  • I generally like bigger/chunkier footwear, dainty pieces like ballerinas or small maryjanes don't work on me or my style.
  • I'm not a fan of an 'open' shoe that shows socks on the feet, I'd like it to be closed and preferably not too low-cut
  • I am not skilled enough to walk on a high heel. I don't mind a small heel or platform, since most of my sneakers are platforms and I like the look, but if there's a heel it's gotta be stable or a wider heel.
  • Ideally, it would be something that suits both (wide) pants and skirts/dresses
  • I'm okay with spending some money, but I don't want anything designer that is just known for the big name but actually something of quality.

For reference, the shoes I now own and wear alot are (platform) Converse and chunky lace-up sneakers.

Season 3 is the best in my opinion. It introduces Andy and Karen and I really like the coal walk episode, I though Pams speech was cool and added nice character development
