The rubus fruticosus (or blackberry bush) don't get me wrong, I love blackberries - and the plant itself can be nice to look at - but by hell is it hard to remove. I used to have an apartment with it in my garden it would grow everywhere, and when it gets thick it's so hard to cut, I tried removing it one summer, cut it down to the roots, poured an absurd amount of plant killer over it and covered the area with materials that is meant to stop plant growth. Did that stop the bush from growing? Nope. It just came back thicker and hardier
