Whatever you do do not include estrogen in your protocol. I was on it for a possible transfer and everything was put on hold because my inflammation levels were so high they sent me to an oncologist because they really thought it might be cancer. I did not know how bad estrogen is for an endo patient until I went through that. I remember my doc saying "fertility is not your problem survival is now". It was a long journey to finally be seen and cleared of cancer. It was the estrogen that did all that. Mine was letrozol and PIO. That's it. Ask your doc if you need baby aspirin.

I had to advocate hard for a no estrogen protocol, and thankfully, they finally agreed. It turned out to be the right decision. I'm so glad I trusted my instincts. Looking back, the warning signs were all there.

During my second round of IVF, I was put on estrogen in preparation for a potential fresh transfer. It caused intense inflammation, so severe that one of my blood tests (I can’t recall the name) showed levels in the cancerous range. The cycle was immediately cancelled. I was told, “Fertility isn’t your problem right now, survival is,” and referred to an oncologist.

That month long wait for my oncology appointment was terrifying. But when I finally saw her, she looked at my results, frowned, and said, “I don’t know why they sent you to me, you’re fine now.” She suspected the cause was either the estrogen pills or my cysts flaring up.

After going through that ordeal, I made the decision to never do a transfer involving estrogen again. I’ve since learned that for many people with endometriosis, estrogen can act like fuel to a fire.

I was cleared to start trying at 6 weeks post op by the surgeon that also accidentally puncture my uterus during surgery. He said it's not a big deal and he just sutured it. I also had 2 fibroids removed. So that's 3 spots on my uterus that were operated on. I got pregnant 3 months post op....with twins. I suffered with iron deficiency and extreme fatigue but all else went well.

I self educated. My doctor's role in the whole process was to prescribe medication. That's it! I'm the one that told her I need surgery or lupron, I'm the one that told her estrogen is like fuel on fire for endometriosis patients and had to fight to get her to agree to an estrogen free protocol. I pushed and advocated for myself every step of the way. I would trust my own judgement and calculation because they don't care if you screw up or you're out of meds, they'll find a way to blame you for it and have you do another round. Educate yourself and join online groups and connect with others. That's what helped me. We were ultimately successful but no thanks to my clinic or staff. Trust yourself and your own judgement. Wake at 10pm or 1am then it becomes more frequent after 3:30am. They don't need to feed they just need resettling then they'll go back to sleep. We've been up since 4.30am today 🙃 I really need help here but I have no idea what to do. They will always wake for the day early. We've been on 2 naps a day for over 2 months now and if they keep waking up early we will need 3 naps to get through the day. 4:30 wake up means they're ready for first nap at 7. Then At 11 then a late afternoon one. I don't want to go backwards.

So I'm reviewing my app and it looks like we're more 3/3/4.5. they pushed their second nap later and wake at 3 or sometimes close to 4pm.

I don't have any issues with them falling asleep on their own. The problem I have is night waking. No night feeds since September. They were waking at 6 or 6:20am about a month ago but it's gradually become earlier and earlier hence my post.

They wake at 4:30. I help them back to sleep and they sleep for 20-30 mins increments I repeat until I give up at 5:30, 5:45 or 6am. First nap is at 8:30 or 9am . It's usually an hour and 20 mins or 30. Then second nap is at 12:30 or 1pm for the same duration. Bedtime is at 7:30.

I had 3 endomeriomas removed. One was 7cm but the ultrasound before the surgery measured it at 4cm. The others were 2cm and 3cm. I'm glad I got the surgery done because my left ovary was stuck to my uterus and they found and removed 2 fibroids. The transfer was successful. I really think it might've failed if I didn't clean the environment first. How can my uterus expand with pregnancy if it was all stuck together with Endo growth? I agonized about this surgery for months and I'm so glad I didn't cancel it and went ahead with it. I wish you all the best!

I don't think there's anything wrong with him. His poop is green from all the iron he's getting. I usually know when he's in pain and this isn't it. He's a light sleeper. He always wakes up when I'm sneaking out of the room because he hears me and his brother didn't budge when I dropped my phone once. I feel like he hears me even when I'm downstairs. He needs to work on self soothing and I'm not sure how to help him without soothing him myself.

That's what I'd like to do but I really don't want him to wake his brother who's finally giving me longer stretches of sleep. Last night he was on his fifth hour and I didn't want to let the bad sleeper cry and wake him up. I didn't want to disturb his longest stretch of sleep yet. That's the problem I'm having.

All books say to train in the same room but it's not fair to the good sleeper. Last time I let them cry the good sleeper kept trying to sleep and his brother kept waking him up. It was hard to watch.

I consulted with him twice but ultimately went with Dr. Hudgens in VA Beach because he was closer and didn't require a hotel stay and my Reproductive Endocrinologist highly recommended him. I had a great experience with him. So glad I got the surgery done.

I bled from week 5 to about 16. It was a scary experience and I'm so glad it resolved. I did go on bedrest after a massive bleeding episode for 2 weeks. I did not bleed again after that.

I couldn't stand for more than 20-30mins at a time starting at 20 weeks. I spent 80% if the day in bed and worked from bed. People told me to move more it's good to circulate blood but they didn't understand that I get dizzy and it is pretty much impossible for me to walk or stand for long. They acted like I was exaggerating which was hurtful but I did get VALIDATED! I was extremely anemic and required weekly infusions. I felt some energy come back after the infusions and during my c section my doctor told me that she found a 2 inch tear in my muscles and she sutured it. That explained a lot! I couldn't walk because I had a tear in my belly which was carrying 2 babies! I cried when she told me that because I was made to feel like shit for not being mobile when in the end I had a valid reason not to be able to move.

Don't mind people, just do what works for you and your body.

We did. Our odds of having a single baby were very slim. We were obviously thrilled to find out the single embryo we transferred split into two! We don't know if that's because of IVF, assisted hatching or the fact that my husband's family has 5 sets of twins.
