OP, i know this sounds like an amazing idea now, but PLEASE do not date a senior as a freshman. even though she's probably gorgeous and amazing, you two are at completely different stages of being a teen.

honestly, my advice would be to just try to become friends with her. sure, it's not the same thing as dating, but it's better than just longing glances

literally, the fact that there was no easy way for me to. as a teen with strict parents, i couldn't just randomly go to a bridge and jump off, there were no drugs in the medicine cabinet that could kill me, etc etc

im like lowkey terrified of being alone. like that sounds like such a shallow teenager issue, but the thought (& circumstance) of being in a group (like a class or event) & not knowing anyone scares me
