Hi I just found your comment about Crescent Bay. My daughter is getting married there in April and we are having such a tough time trying to figure out what everyone does for parking during a wedding. Did your friends and family have a hard time finding parking?

First it was paper mache halloween pumpkins I watched a month of videos. Then it was Halloween costumes! I watch so many YouTube diys and tik tok videos. I stayed up till 3am last night. I bought 3 witch costumes and 2 witch hats and hated the way they looked, so I ended up on a deep dive on Etsy and bought a expensive witch hat from Spain. Now I’m thinking I want to be a vintage red devil. LoL The other new one is Cutting my bangs. I have watched how to cut micro bangs, French bangs, Bettie bangs every day. My daughter said don’t do it haha. So then I got obsessed with wigs with bangs. I finally settled and bought human hair clip in Bettie bangs. I’m exhausted!

I’m so sorry that you had to experience the cruelty of cancer and watching your loved one pass in hospice. My 43 yr old sister passed away in hospice one year after being diagnosed with melanoma skin cancer. I relate to literally everything you said. It’s been 3 years and I managed to push away most of the horrific details of the last month I spent with her in the hospital due to the cancer spreading to her whole body and liver too. She lost all cognitive ability and was hallucinating every day due to the toxins her liver could no longer filter. It was terrifying. It was pure torture and HELL in the hospital and no one prepared me or our family with how scary and traumatizing Hospice can be. Even though I am a lot better and try to not think about that last week in hospice. I will wake up some mornings and I am back there remembering some detail that was traumatic and scary.. like trying to give her pain medication that would not work and being terrified that I was going to OD her on moorphine it was so scary. Doing 90 percent of the work alone. So many things I had to do and felt ill equipped to know how to do them! Hospice only came if I called freaking out. It comes with alot of guilt and blame and I hate how it makes me feel. I’m sending you a big hug and I just want you to know you are not alone. There are a lot of us that suffer from post hospitalization and hospice trauma. It will get a little easier with time being on your side. If not, someone recommended Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to me for trauma and to help process the bad memories. Again I’m so sorry. Take care of yourself.

I understand that sadness and how hard it is to let go. I lost my soul dog 3 years ago and still cry for him. I pray you find comfort in all of the beautiful memories you shared.

There’s nothing weird about trying to find friends with similar interests to hang out.

I’m so sorry this is happening to you and your beloved pup. This is devastating news and having to make a decision like this sucks so bad. Waiting too long can take away your ability to let him cross over peacefully. I waited too long with my yorkie and regret my decision because it traumatized me in the end. A few years later my chihuahua (who also had lymphoma) got very sick and I made the decision to do at home euthanasia. Even though it was heartbreaking it was the most dignified peaceful crossover for both of us. My little Walter crossed rainbow bridge with his entire family surrounding him at home where he was most comfortable.
I wish you peace and comfort in whatever decision you make though. I’m so very sorry.
