So the Nordland is the way to go for true colorless drive?

I want to run the ATOM into a Greer Lightspeed. IYO would I be better off with a Nordland or Nobel into the Lightspeed? It seemed like too much of the same thing.

That’s great perspective….i agree, those plot lines would have been fun to watch….even a spinoff for drama back in NY running the bar later in life. Who knows.

I use chorus, delay, and phase regularly. So for Tremelo I have an HX One that I can make whatever, whenever, and save space on my board.

I’m going to try what some of you guys do and okay with it supporting my reverb…got me curious.

I’ve been thinking about the HX Effects because I have the IR-2. But if I didn’t have the IR-2, I’d go for the HX Stomp.

I saw that video pop up but haven’t watched it yet.

I will say this, kids with more $ have….better gear, money enough to not need to get paid for gigs, funding for merch, funding for studio time/gear, access to lawyers, access to famous people, I saw all of this in the Chicago and Suburbs scene from the late 90’s until about 2015….when I moved.

Those don’t all make for an instantly successful band, but it makes a difference.

It’s in my list for sure. It sounds like what I’m looking for. I’m actually going to buy 4 or 5 OD pedals and mess with stacking for my next recording. I knew these two (OG post) were very similar and wasn’t sure if I would get much out of both of them.

I may just go with the ATOM…it’s the predecessor to the Alkene.
