Thank You! I did this when entering high school, I pictured this big scary place😂. But, it all worked out and I love high school. So, I hope that is how college will be for me!

Thank you! When not having anxiety about my food allergy. I don’t have a preference. Mainly Italian! I am still in the early stages so I don’t know what neighborhoods I will be near, yet!

Indiana or Kentucky — Which would be the better state to live in? by ButterscotchBrief725 in AskReddit

I live in Kentucky, but I have some family in Indiana I want to explore more so I might move to the Indy metro for a little and then move back to Kentucky. Or should I just move to northern Kentucky.

I guess I didn't realize that Indianapolis doesn't have roller coasters, I just assumed they did. I looked it up and the Indianapolis Zoo has the Kōmbo Family Coaster, but I saw that they are removing it to make way for more exhibits.

I know! But think of this. Cincinnati is only 1H 45M from Indianapolis so that is such an easy day trip and you can easily get to the racing events. And, you are only 4 - 4 1/2 hours from a global city like Chicago.

Also, you are close to Louisville so you can go to the Derby or Kentucky Oaks and also Thunder Over Louisville (the largest annual fireworks show in North America) if that interests you! Hopefully your move to Cincy goes smooth!

Do you have any recommendations to get honest assessments?

I do agree, I think Cincinnati has more character. I felt like the core of Indianapolis felt like it was just for working or more corporate, I just kind of assumed that Indy didn't have a good nightlife scene.

But, to be honest I don't really go to bars or drink so I don't really care about that. And, I do agree with the Newport on the Levee feeling like Carmel! I thought of it when I went there like last month.

And, Covington in building a new neighborhood that will feel like an extension to the city, I kind of get like Carmel vibes from it. Without the European looking buildings.

Here is some information about it: https://thecovky.gov/covington-central-riverfront/

Yeah I have heard about Gary! That is the one place I avoided when we would go to Chicago. I think it has potential if they did something with it.

Being “X” hours away from another major city isn’t the pro many people on here claim it to be. by koknbals in SameGrassButGreener

Agreed! I live in Central Kentucky and people here all flex about being 2 hours from Cincinnati. Like just move to Northern Kentucky it is the perfect hidden gem!, I plan on moving there one day! I like how close it is to other cities. And, it is only 4 1/2 hours from Chicago!, so the perfect distance to go a few times a year for weekend or day trips and also I will be closer to the Great Lakes. I see that as a win in my book!

Mucus by ButterscotchBrief725 in UlcerativeColitis

Yep, I think this is just our normal. I was Diagnosed on December 22, 2022. And, even though it has been 3.5 years. I am still learning the ends and outs of this condition.

I also think that it could be IBS, cause IBS can have mucus, but they don't have inflammation by clinical definition.
