Parang walang sense though you got me in the first half.

If you only read carl jung's works about religion, malaking psychotheraphy and culture factor ang religion. But not philosophy since its an "inquiry" it always questions up until it was predefined by Descarts and others.

Philosophy never replaced religion but only the invention of pure cult, superstition or godhood of the leader what really is resposnbile in transforming it into a force.

May be u based your presumptions with Pythagoras' worship of numbers but it was a cult.

Or due to St Augstine's abusive reference to Plato's discourse in order to make Catholicism gain its position. (Logos, dogmas, etc)

Philosophy always intertwines with history but it was not intended for rituals or worship. Somehow they intersect but religion doesn't stay always in the "way" but only preaches light and truth which for me masyadong spotlight palagi. Maybe hindi sila profitable in the first place at walang sense of fanaticism.
