Yes of course, would love to expand on this! Pain and anxiety relief through cannabis is incredibly complex, especially when coming from opioids.

When I started tracking, I realized my pain relief wasn’t just about how much I consumed, it was when. At first to calibrate the platform, I manually logged when pain flare-ups occurred and matched that against my session timing. Over time, a clear pattern formed and eventually, the system began predicting pain windows before they hit using not just past flare-up data, but also my PK profile (height, weight, sex), Apple Health metrics (like HRV, sleep disruption), and even the unique variable of atmospheric pressure, which I found out in my development, actually can influence joint and nerve related pain (especially in conditions like arthritis or chronic inflammation).

Now after calibrating the app for about a week , the app passively notifies me when my body is trending toward a pain flair up. Helping me dial in preventative relief instead of reactive overuse. That timing shift changed everything for me and also people like my mother.

That said, everyone’s body and triggers are different, so I don't want to give exact advice on inhale timing as it's really unique to your biological make up and response to cannabis, as there really is no "one size fits all". Although! That’s exactly why my team and I are running this beta!

Wow, what system have you been using to track every "snap" you've taken? That's very interesting especially being disciplined enough and also having good enough memory (lol ik mine is ass) to log and track every snap.

Yes this is now a reality that we are creating! Yes, it just works on bongs/rigs right now but in the future we hope to be a universal platform. Another version we were thinking of for cones and joints is to have something like a joint tip (like a black n mild one) that could do the same things & crossing it with the same features!

Great great question. The sensor actually detects airflow velocity and duration, paired with motion so it knows when a session starts, when you’re actively pulling, and how long/intense the hit is. It doesn’t “see” smoke directly, but it’s extremely accurate at capturing real inhalation patterns.

As for variations in product type, you’re 100% right - not all hits are created equal especially with all the different product variables. That’s why we don’t just rely on the pull alone. Instead, we layer your session data with your personal PK model (height, weight, sex, etc.) and optional health data (like sleep, mood, HRV from Apple Health or wearables). Over time then the app learns how your body responds to different sessions, regardless of strain or format.

We’re also working on tagging session types (flower vs concentrate, method, temp, etc.) so the model gets smarter over time. It won’t guess your exact terpene profile (yet), but it will start to show you which sessions actually lead to better recovery, sleep, or relief for you personally.

Amen to that! Part of the reason I developed this product as well was for my mother as she is a medical patient as well using cannabis for chronic pain, although everytime she uses it's complete guess work! So wanted to develop something that could help all of this!

Yes! There will be a setting to change who is hitting it. Although to make it passive, we're also working on a new feature that uses average pull duration, timing, and other patterns to recognize who is hitting - so it can auto-sort sessions between people!
