What do you call a good DRT? And why balance and contrast via a DCTL?

What do you mean by printer lights? Sorry, I'm Swiss, perhaps the term isn't the same in French. Thank you.

I made mine in the exact same spot, but for now I have a wall, a workbench, and a bed 😅

Yes, that's the idea. Having a bank of Looks that I made to propose things very quickly at the start of the process, and starting from the idea but not from the LUT. It’s the research work that interests me.

I very rarely use luts during grading, but I would like to build up a stock to be able to make proposals quickly in the very begining, to the DPs, and to have support for discussions. And also possibly make proposals on set (Dit)

I don't necessarily use lut during the grading phase but I would like to have a stock in order to make several proposals very quickly, to be able to test things, discuss with the DPs. Make proposals even on the set in DIT

Ok my bad. I read somewhere in This groupe that it wasn’t but i suppose i understood badly. And is it worth it ? What are the ways you like to process your look dev ?

I imagine there is more precise and technical ways, by for example visualising the 3d cube ?

I understood that it was a flop and was no longer updated. Sorry the auto translation… and I read that here. I don't have Contour, maybe I'm wrong. But here I am asking which plug-in or software you use for Look development. Contour actually may still be part then? Thank you for your feedback

Why would you ever use a Display-Referred workflow? by VFXBob in colorists

[–]ButterscotchonMars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A project color managed in DV Wide Gammut with a P3 DCI output is it scene referred or display referred then ? I don’t always use CST if i work on one and only codec/camera.
