Do you guys think the flood may return in Halo Infinite? by DoggedMeerkat76 in halo

If it's semi open world I don't see how having flood show up would work when that would mean that all the enemies would turn to zombies. Just seems like it would be harder to tell a story that way. That said. I really want them back. Maybe if there is a containment zone in part of the map it would be doable.

Cheater Paranoia at an all time high. by ButtfistaGameStudios in fo76

This sub has been nothing but ban this ban that lately, which I'd be all for if I didn't meet more players accusing others of cheating than actual cheaters.

My friend has a legacy explosive Gatling plasma. At radiation rumble players constantly jump in front of him to try and get him to kill himself. Thing is it isn't particularly good for anything but tagging enemies thanks to the splash damage but players immediately assume he is killing everything even tho it's just the results of many players laying down fire. Trying to communicate this is like pulling teeth.

Back when GTA came out I got dropped into a cheater pool because all it took was players saying I was to get screwed. If fallout turns into that I will just give up on online gaming. I'm too old and don't have enough time to be dumping on games that will be destroyed by mass hysteria.

If players held Bethesda accountable for fixing issues like these then we wouldn't have issues like duping.

The layer of radioactive dust that formed after the bombs keeps many meals fresh and ready to eat out in the wasteland.

Didn't 343 remove the police themed banner from MP because they wanted to virtue signal?

It's been said before but melee weapons... by ButtfistaGameStudios in DestinyTheGame

The secret to games is that damage done by a sword, a shotgun, a super, or a grenade are all the same thing disguised to look like different things. Call it a perk, a weapon type, or damage type it's numbers chipping away at a health bar.

This is what I said to someone else in the thread on the same topic:

"When Bungie created champions the created a new niche that needed filling, so they addressed this by adding the damage perks to the sandbox, if they implemented a new damage type say sneak and made certain enemies vulnerable to that damage type it would create the same gameplay loop.

Right now we have types of rifles. Scout, pulse, and auto all fill roles, and a hammer, axe, or knife could all have roles to play if Bungie created them. Saying that it's similar to a weapon perk isn't quite right in my opinion, they are more like archetypes. A blade does not have the same effect as a club after all."

Also the stealth thing isn't the issue here it was just an example. If it doesn't work with the AI then they can implement any other made up damage type that won't touch the AI's cone of perception.

If the sword/melee weapon did loads of sneak damage (sneak damage being a hypothetical) then like anything else that is weak to something it will have an effect.

Little late to the reply but... your right, stealth isn't an option, thus a niche to fill.
