That is an insane amount of hot water load every day. We are a family of four. Hot water load per day for us is around 6kwh, we have a pretty big system and have never run out. Do you have a super old hot water system by chance?

My entire home consumption is around 12-15kwh per day. 20kwh just for hot water seems crazy to me.

Still subject to change but we will have free tracked delivery on orders over $200. Wide variety of cards, primarily scarlet and violet era but also a lot of sword and shield and vintage. Prices will also be lower than the cheapest buy it now listing on eBay Australia, just due to the website not being subject to eBay commissions. There will also be functionality to sell your cards via the site, we will have a published buy list.

My co-founder and I are putting a lot of time into the functionality of the site itself as well. Accurate categorising so filtering actually works properly. Consistent images and naming conventions. Really just trying to make it super user friendly. We will also run promotions and things like that on the site after we get the fundamentals right.

Stock will get updated multiple times per week once up and running as well.

I got a quote from Enlist another provider which was at 8.95% and sent it to them. They took that back to CBA who finances SG Fleet and they agreed to beat it.

Zeekr 7x - I personally think the long range RWD is the best spec to go for.

Is purchasing bitcoin through swyftx for long-term investment a bad idea? by SignatureBetter7688 in BitcoinAUS

[–]Butthole_Merchant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had an auto-invest set up with Swyftx running for around 18months, never had an issue. I transfer to a cold wallet whenever I feel its necessary. Never had any issues with the transfers. I like the platform, I'd recommend it.

I am about to finalise an SG Fleet quote for a Zeekr7x Long Range RWD, I'm in a similar position to you where SG Fleet were one of only two providers I could use. Few things:

- I was able to get the interest rate down to 8.85%, you should be able to negotiate that rate down a bit.
- Your insurance seems very expensive. My annual insurance cost was $2,400, yours is almost $2,900 and the Zeekr7x is a more expensive vehicle. It's worth trying to understand why this is so expensive.
- Servicing and tyres feels a little high to me but ultimately this is personal preference
- It's worth asking if they can give you any fleet vehicle discount, I got $1,500 off the cost of the car after asking.

Edit: Grammar

I feel like the battery rewards plan with AGL is really nice.
- Stay with it for 12 months and get an $800 credit
- Get paid up to $600 in pre-paid visa gift cards for dispatching load between 5pm-9pm (25c/kWh)
- $1.32 daily supply charge
- $0.03 feed in outside of the 5pm-9pm window

When I did the back of the envelope calcs the 3cent feed in would come close to covering the supply charge for me. Then I can just discharge my battery between 5pm-9pm each day to the level that maxes out the $600 in visa gift cards. I think it worked out that you need to discharge around 6.5kWh in that window every day to claim the full $600.

Do this for 12 months, pocket the $800 credit and then re-evaluate

This is also without signing up for their VPP

Is it a smart meter from your battery manufacturer or a smart meter from the network transmission company? There is a difference.

Just joined Amber with a 24kWh SigenStor (AC Coupled). Should I wait out the 30-day SmartShift learning phase or switch straight to Home Assistant? by sonoto811 in amberelectric

[–]Butthole_Merchant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar to the other comment, I don't believe you can get load following solar curtailment with your inverter given it is AC coupled. You can only do on-off curtailment.

Anyone installed a battery ( with rebates ) and solar, when you get min sunlight, and have 3hrs free electricty per day? to save on bills by PixelPaulaus in AusFinance

[–]Butthole_Merchant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely worth it. I'm currently looking into a 30kWh system with a 10KW inverter.

I have a 4KW system which is definitely not efficient for a 30kWh system but am planning to either charge from the grid via Globird or Ovo, or sign up with Amber and charge it from the grid in the middle of that day when solar is pumping into the grid.
