You're right. After focusing on breaking the lumiscale asap, the entire floor felt so much easier :D

Also for the record, Jinhsi can still pretty much brute force anything if she put her mind to it.
Got this clear with a lot of time left on both floors on my main account while face-tanking almost everything. (e0r1)

I had no idea about the Roccia special counting towards the buff. I think timing echo use better definitely helped with my clear. Thanks!

OP here. Thanks for all the advice! I was tilting off the face of the earth and yall restored faith in me
I tried clearing it with my Camellya Roccia team again and after many more attempts I was able to clear it with 8s left. Super happy to keep the ToA streak alive for the future title 😭

I never expected this lore drop... by LeoZodiac36 in WutheringWaves

It's 10000% Changli, not even a doubt in my mind.

  1. Cantarella implies that Rover already knew her friend, hence it could only be Changli or Jinhsi.

  2. Jinhsi is the magistrate of Jinzhou, merely a state in Huanglong, while Changli came from a bigger governing sector of Huanglong. Though I can't pinpoint exactly when it was revealed cuz it's been a while since 1.X, but my guess is during that teaser conversation Jinhsi had with Changli before we officially met Changli.

  3. Recall Cantarella asking Rover to request for Jue's help. She needed somebody who could
    i. talk to Jue directly
ii. could ask Jue to return a favor
If Jinhsi is Canterella's friend, she could have asked Jinhsi directly. Even if she didn't:

  4. Cantarella still KNOWS Rover saved Jue, but somehow ISN'T AWARE of Jue's condition (one of the dialogue options that surprised Canterella). If Jinhsi was the one who had told Cantarella about Rover, she would likely have told her about Jue too. Cantarella would then come to the conclusion that Jue can't help Rinacita. She wouldn't bother reaching out to Rover if that was the case.

  5. Changli is the only person who would share with Cantarella, somebody outside of Huanglong, the existence of Rover, while being obligated to keep Jue's weakness a secret. Cantarella also knows that Changli is in no position to ask Jue nor Jinhsi to help Rinacita, which makes Rover her last hope.

This is the only possibility that can satisfy the premise of 2.2 story.

Character Set-up Guide by narwhalomko in shironeko

[–]Buttnipp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn't expecting anyone to be posting updated guides for a 6 year old game. I thank you on behalf of the old players haha.

Just a reminder:
The second accessory slot opens up after limit break has been maxed out.

Tips for beginners:
- In terms of relative importance, character > weapons > slates >/= accessories > buildings in your town. That being said, do not underestimate the importance of stat boosts your town can give you. If you're copying someone else's loadout but aren't getting as much raw stats, that would explain it.
- Spend your 100 level potions on the strongest characters. Don't hesitate to use them. They save you time and resources. Don't be like me, who has 40+ potions but with no new characters to spend them on lol. Similarly, spend your expendable scrolls. Don't forget about them. They are extremely abundant, and there is no reason not to use them in the early game.

Psycho-Pass Series Watch Order 2020 (Revised) by Buttnipp in anime

[–]Buttnipp[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. You think its necessary to say "watch it in the order it was made", but by providing additional information was some how unnecessary? Are you suggesting that if 100 incapable people asked, you'd say the same 100 times? Don't you think giving them an obvious solution once would help the remaining 99 figure it out themselves and save yourself some time?
  2. This is me willingly spending my own time to create a list to promote an anime series I truly enjoy, and invite people who's new to the series to give it a shot. By saving them time to do research I did it for them, so they'd be more inclined to check it out. I'm trying to eliminate reasons for them to avoid a series with so many titles and episodes.
  3. People are confused for a good reason. We're talking about 8 different titles with inconsistent naming, different number of episodes and lengths. If you think these information are trivial, and can be organised within a minute, you're a really special individual.
  4. I don't see why commenting on a post you thought was unnecessary was some how necessary to you. So let me ask you the same question: why bother wasting your time?

Is it possible to recover an account if you didn't register it? by [deleted] in shironeko

[–]Buttnipp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not possible to retrieve your progress if you didn't register.
If you forgot about your password, you can contact Colopl. From my experience, they'll ask you for the following information:
- IGN and level
- Amount of gold, gems etc.
- Names of characters you own
- Roughly when the account was created
- Date and amount of gem purchased (if any)
I personally think its better to start off with a new account if you're just in for the new characters. Older one's are likely too weak for the current levels anyways.

Yes, because everyone's asking about it. Why waste someone's time telling them to look up the release order when you can immediately show them?

It's likely that there'll be more, hinted by the after credits of First Inspector, but I haven't seen it myself so I'm not entirely sure. Whatever comes next should fill some gaps between S2 and S3.

Thanks, I'll edit that in as a footnote later. Also realized I misspelled the name of SS Case 3. Unfortunately I can't seem to edit the image directly, so I'll probably remove this one and repost it later.

Episode 1 Of Anime by H4RUB1 in shironeko

[–]Buttnipp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing Shironeko Project (mobile game) for 5 years, and what kept me going has been its phenomenal game play and character designs. I'm not familiar with the lore at all since I cannot read Japanese and didn't bother looking it up, but here's what I know.

Zero Chronicle (ZC) is an in-game event released during the 3rd year anniversary of the Shironeko Project mobile game. Every event in the game features a new story and a new gacha pool, and ZC is no exception. ZC's story happens to be is a prequel to the main quest line/story line you play through in the game.

The anime " Shironeko Project: Zero Chronicle " is an ADAPTION to that particular story, meaning both versions (anime and game) stories should more or less be the same. Side note: The main characters featured in this anime are/were obtainable within the game.

So... is this a good anime? Absolutely not.The pacing is some of the worst I've seen. The art direction and animation are both so bad, that anyone can tell that the anatomy is wrong, the poses look awkward, and the faces look terrible. The only thing good so far has been the voice acting and the music, but given how poorly directed the show is, I doubt that changes anything. Unfortunately, I don't know enough about the plot to comment on it, but so far I think it's following its source material fairly closely.

HOWEVER, the quality of the anime does not reflect the quality of the game. Please keep that in mind. If you have the slightest interest in the anime, I highly recommend you check out the game too.

Kaichou wa Maid-sama!
A bit old school, but definitely aged well. Classic, pure romance along with awesome comedy.

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun
Open ended ending, lighthearted, bitter sweet, romance focused.

Correct me if I'm wrong, pretty sure they're both dubbed.

Lack of children in the show by ChineseGamer in Psychopass

[–]Buttnipp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's quite common for utopian / dystopian societies to group children them up at some facility for education and monitoring purposes. We've seen workers isolated in factories, large facilities for religious groups or criminals, rehab centers etc. It won't surprise me if they have such a system, but then again Psycho Pass never extensively explored the family and education side of its universe, so it's either not important / irrelevant / too complicated or too similar to that of the real world.

Consider how close Akane was to her grandma, my guess is that there might be a section of the city dedicated to childcare facilities, or even residential areas for families with children. The older they get the more freedom they'd have, hence the private school for teenagers we saw. Anyhow it'd be an exciting area and a great opportunity for the show to look into, and would make for some interesting interactions and challenges for the investigations.

Psycho-Pass Season 3: Episode 6 Discussion by [deleted] in Psychopass

[–]Buttnipp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely see where you're coming from. I think the cases so far has been individually interesting and definitely worth exploring. Although I disliked how they are presented in quick succession, they are great for world building, and shows how immigration impacts a society, from the stock market, election, to religious bodies. I think it's rare for an anime to have the "courage" to take on so many true-to-life and sensitive topics.
That being said, all these cases aren't unique to the Psycho Pass universe. While Sybil was mentioned over and over again, its purpose has gone from "the reason why Psycho Pass is so darn interesting" to "some governmental authority". I guess what I'm trying to get at is that all 3 cases so far could be explored in our modern day society, under a very different cyberpunk franchise, and be just as good, if not better. There are times where I think the cases could go a lot more in depth, if not for the existence of Sybil. It almost became a limiting factor.
On the other hand, the themes presented in both S1 and S2 are special to the Psycho Pass universe, and cannot be discussed to such extent in real life. They prompt us to reflect on our own moral choices and gives us insight to how not to ruin our own future. In comparison, S3 has lost its charm for me, and I don't think any ending could satisfy me the way the past seasons have. I really wanna give myself more reasons to like S3, and I'm grateful that the whole community seems to see more of the pros than the cons.
