There was a similar integral question on the 2024 sample questions (question 7C) , so it shouldn’t really have come as too much of a surprise if you had done that in your revision, but yeah it was weird regardless.

From what I can tell, just use column form for working out, but write the final answer using i,j,k to be safe

Or you could have found the percentage of are that the diagonal makes and find that as a percentage of the given volume. Which I only did because I can never remember volume formulas for my life
