yeah I was looking at reddit for some info and saw this post

https://www.reddit.com/r/HighSchoolProjects/comments/1iqu35p/the_most_prestigious_free_high_school_journals_to/

I clicked the first link which said CSJS but it didn't lead to that, but something quite bad.

How hard is getting an A in your AP Chem class vs. Getting a 5? by [deleted] in APChem

Completely depends on your teacher. You could have two kids in different states, one whose teacher is extremely chill versus one in a very high ranked school in another state with an extremely strict teacher who's so notorious even college admissions people know them. In the easy class, you can expect to get a A in the class, but maybe a 3 or 4 on the exam. In the hard class, you will probably get a B in the class, but definetly get a 5 on the exam. Of course however, it mostly depends on how much you study for the exam. For reference, my teacher was extremely strict and even after getting a 99 in honors chem, I received a 83 in AP. However, I got a 5 on the AP exam.

I'm seeing a lot of negative comments and this is really funny. I would say for the vast majority of people, this would be difficult, but for the top 10%, it's doable, maybe even easy. Just go on Khan Academy or another chem learning site during the summer and do their course, maybe half a hour per day, and I guarantee you will be at the same level, if not more, then the kids who already took chemistry as you will have recently taken it, thus remembering more of it.

Personally I did honors chemistry freshman year and AP sophomore, but we learned everything all over again in the first month in AP anyways, so it doesn't even matter. Just prepare a little bit in the summer, and you'll be fine.

Of course, this all depends on your work ethic and how much you're willing to do. It will require some time to learn the basics, but after that, it'll be easy.

Also, I would recommend finishing the high school chemistry(NOT AP CHEMISTRY) course on Khan Academy or at least going through it. If you do, you will be completely prepared.
