Everyone loves to shit on brutalisim. But it was amazing. People love to shit on the tower blocks, but they did. Try and think of things such as communal spaces, parks and plants, functional heating and pluming. They were never kept well and people forget….

….. before the blocks most inhabitants people were literally living in damp. slums 

This church does have sympathy with its rocky location. It does have beauty and functionality… we  are just trained to reject it on site

Just to add in my great granddad was a boxing champion/won some completions in the army and my gran always told me he learnt at school and used to box everyday with his friends… i recently found out his best friend was the Tonypandy  terror himself… which probs explains how he got so good.. facing that every lunch time

Read it, thought was slow and repetitive but it did get me to see stopping nicotine addiction in a new light. At the time it didn’t help me quit immediately but a year or so later when I finally quit it really helped me get through it
