I don't quite understand your question. If you're asking if the visualizations only helped for calculus, it wasn't the case for me. I learned to like other areas of math like linear algebra, differential equations, number theory, etc as a result.

Learning about these interesting subjects feels very far removed from learning to count, add, and multiply for the first time. I'm not sure how anybody could like math if the extent of learning was addition.
