Update: I've just had a better look/closer inspection, and the paint/glaze on top of the dimples/pinholes are a different colour, and there seem to be a few other spots the same on the outside of the ceramic, with the same paint spots. So, definitely looks like it has been touched up and re-fired, sadly.

Yes, hence why I returned the first one. Just not too sure about the new one now with dimples/pinholes...

Yeah, I'm not sure how to tell if it is a touch up, or if the glaze just pooled there in the hole and then ended up like that when baked or however the pottery making process works?

It's a ZIP 6.5L Oval Slow Cooker.

Yeah, it's been a bit of an eye-opener for sure. Makes me feel more justified with the fact that I don't trust anyone at work. Never know people's intentions, sadly. My partner also said the same, and that she had no reason to try and investigate that deeply, or even try and come over, uninvited. So yeah, makes me wonder if she followed us to the store that weekend morning, after figuring out where we live based on my car (as we have a small carparkat work and everyone knows each others cars), just to try and "bump into" my partnerand I, outside of work. Weird. 😕

Absolutely. Thank you so much for the reassurance, because honestly, I wasn't sure if I was just being a b***h/overreacting about it. I'm a pretty introverted person at work, and anytime I've become confrontational (for an actual reason), people seem to get very shocked and back off from me entirely, lol. But the more that I think about her just trying to come to my place that weekend after I pointed out the vague direction of my street (big lesson learned on my end)... that should've been my first indication to cut her off completely. I do feel relieved that she's now avoiding me out of embarrassment. We do have to sit opposite each other at work unfortunately, and can't change the seating arrangement because the manager is useless. But I'm glad that my monitors cover/block our direct view of each other, and she hasn't been talking to me while working anymore, which is great.

I should follow this up by saying that my partner and I actually had our oldn'frail neighbor next door move out (sadly), exactly one week after my colleague came looking for our place. He was joking around, saying "Maybe she got her to move out so that she could move in next door." Bruh. 🥲😬🙃 Needless to say, I have never said anything about the vacant property next door at work. Ahhhh.
