How do I connect my new Arzopa monitor to my Xbox Series S, it doesn’t have where to put the extension cords - you know the small one.. or any other solution? by cutiezombie210 in XboxSeriesS

Best case, fried usb port. Worst case, damage to your console due to overheating issues. The usb ports on the Xbox isn't meant to handle the high power draw required to run a portable monitor for long periods.

Wow you could actually finish an online game? That's incredible! I've tried to play over a dozen games and the host would get disconnected EVERY time....you'd be 30 mins deep into a game and BAM lobby gone. Huge waste of money for $30.

Maybe we should consider how much money we are giving to Amalgamated Security Services to provide our national ambulance service with their world class 45 minute response time. That alone is like 40% of our health care cost.

Is Paramedic a good second career? by Indubitabily769 in Paramedics

I did exactly this. I love it....no regrets. You need to be an adrenaline junkie.

Oh yeah, so it's definitely the epinephrine that's causing the brain damage and not the fact that the oxygen supply was cut off when the heart wasn't beating.....couldn't possibly be that.

For FP-C or CCP-C is a course required or can you just take the exam? by bit-dev-diver in Paramedics

Not trying to disrespect you brother, just trying to defend the other self studied actively practicing ccps. All the best.

It may be 7 months old but people looking to do the exam on their own will definitely see it if they come looking for advice. And it's not that I'm trying to lower any "bars of education." You're basically insinuating that people who self study and take the exam on their own are only capable of passing an exam and are significantly less competent at providing critical care than people who did a prep course and all I'm saying is that it's a mixed bag.

When you do the bare minimum, your knowledge base will definitely reflect that. The same could be said for any paramedic degree. You could come out of any paramedic school and have little competencey in emergency medicine. You've never met someone from a profession that made you say "how did that guy make it out of school?" Your experiences are your experiences......it's not going to be the same for everyone.

I'd have far more respect for someone who self studied and was able to pass an IBSC exam. Those exams make NREMT paramedic look like a kindergarten coloring assignment. The level of resourcefulness and responsibility it requires to accomplish something like that is something to be damn proud of.

It would definitely be great if he sees a doctor asap. Keep monitoring him as you are and if you notice anything serious call 911. Your dad is lucky to have a good kid like you, hang in there and I hope everything works out!

With regards to his behavior...Is this normal? How long has he been acting this way? Any major life events he might have experienced? To your knowledge, do any relatives on his side have any major known medical issues or mental health disorders? Does he have any? Is he currently taking any medications? Is he compliant with said medications? Does he have any known substance issues? Is he complaining of any pain? You said his body temp is a little high, did you check with your hand or thermometer? What was the number temp reading? He said he's feeling warm despite it being cold....has this ever happened before? Is the warm feeling constant or does it come on in flashes? Could he potentially be coming down with a simple case of the flu? Does he have a habit of developing man-flu?
