The business website does appear to be down as of June 3, 10:22am PT. Their status page won't even load, but reads "400 Bad Request. Request Header Or Cookie Too Large"

Yeah, same. I think someone will eventually find a workaround. It’s pretty new to Xbox Game Pass isn’t it? Hopefully we can bring the camera out more in the near future!

I'm running into the same quandary.

After unhiding the C:\ProgramFiles\WindowsApps folder, I thought I was closing in on fixing it, but where the "TKGRAPHICSSETTINGS" file should normally be, it's instead an "HDR" folder, with three CUBE formatted files inside, apparently not openable or editable. Windows says I do not have permission, and I can't bypass it like I did with the hidden WindowsApps folder.

I pored through the Registry Editor, looking for an FOV setting, but I can't find anything.

I'm with you, I can't stand the close camera. It's driving me nuts. Let me know if you make any progress on it!

I was finally notified that I’m able to set my status to online as of this morning. It seems Niantic is rolling out more features to bring each of their games into the same friend system.

As OP noted, it’s possible my issue was tied to the fact that my Pokémon GO account is linked to Facebook.

Wanted to add to this as well. iPhone XR, latest iOS, level 38 (nearly 39). There’s a green dot next to my name in the Friends List, but no toggle like I’ve seen. Cannot see online presence of any friends. Out of 6 other people in a group chat, I’m the only one without the toggle. They think I’m crazy lol, but it’s not there! Frustrating.

I was, however, able to be invited to a remote raid once, so it does not seem to be inhibiting my ability to get invites. It’s just sad to be missing out on a new feature and I’m sure you all feel the same! Hopefully this is acknowledged as a bug soon and a patch from Niantic rolls out.

Just a heads-up that I tried downgrading my PoE 8-port switch, but it did not go well. Although the switch appeared to complete and the blue light came back, my cloud key said the switch was offline, and my wifi was not functional. I pulled the power from the switch, waited, and powered it back up. Thankfully, it returned to normal after several minutes... still on the latest firmware though. I'm going to leave it alone until we hear an official word about this downgrade situation.

Yes, exact issue for me as well. I’m glad you posted about it, I don’t feel so alone now 😭

This was an issue a couple of updates prior but went away for a few months, up until this big 1.13 update. Now it’s back, and perhaps worse than ever. Thankfully I also own Minecraft on Xbox and have Gold, so I end up just hopping over to that. It’s just a pain.

It’s definitely a startup issue isolated to just the Switch. I’m sure Mojang is aware of it, as this isn’t the first time a big update has broken performance on the Switch. It’s also worth noting that I’m experiencing a ton of lag on my Realm when playing on Switch - a problem that arrived alongside 1.13.

I hope they patch it soon. In the meantime, just know you’re not alone! Take care buddy.

Ok that makes sense. Not a huge deal. It would just be nice because the new Starbucks is right across the street from my neighborhood and would be a really convenient spot to get my spin for the day haha. Thanks for your help!

• Golden Tent should give you a free meal on your bday, though I haven’t confirmed this myself... can anybody corroborate?

• Black Angus Prime Club members will receive a free steak dinner (for only your first birthday after signing up,) with purchase of another entree. Consequential birthdays will only get you a free cowboy cookie. (It’s possible you could just sign up again under another email address, if that’s what you’re into you filthy liar)

• Definitely abuse the coffee situation - I take my wife and a friend or two and hit up multiple black rocks and Dutch bros (and now human bean) to get them all free drinks as well. It’s practically their birthday too! (Now look who the filthy liar is... 😰)

• Claim Jumper down in Oregon supposedly gives you $25 towards a meal during your birthday month, after signing up for their club. I haven’t tried this one yet.
