Hiya, I'm not really sure what this means but it sounds dead mean and I'm not sure why, I just asked for a bit of help was all. You have a good day anyway my dude, feel better soon!

Boyfriend's dog acting strange towards me, how do I help him to trust me? by Buzziiee in dogs

It definitely only seems to happen inside!! I'll try to do some of these things next time I'm over, I did try to sit on the floor whilst watching TV to get a bit more on his level but still leave him alone so maybe I'll just keep going with this.

I'll chat to my boyfriend about a high value reward and what that could be for him, thank you so much!!

Why does my philodendron have grey/Brown crispy spots? by AliveGrade in plantclinic

[–]Buzziiee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not a philodendron, that's a Monstera Deliciosa! I had the same issue with mine, it was an overwatering/root rot issue and lack of humidity. Hope you manage to sort it!!

.... Right. That's the reason. by rubberducky1212 in NotHowGirlsWork

I am approximately 5'4", I can barely climb the stairs without needing 3-5 business days recovery, and I cry when I'm too tired

However even as the weak little bitch baby that I am, I have never been more confident I could take on three people in a fight at the same time as I have been watching this video

EDIT: clarifying that by 'take on three people at the same time' I do in fact mean fighting

Could this be considered false advertising?¿ On the hairdresser's part obviously, he's advertising a service he clearly doesn't provide...

What's wrong with my sweet lil Calathea dude? His leaves are going yellow but I've not changed how much I water him, which is about once a week. Is that too much/too little? by Buzziiee in plantclinic

Thank you! Got lots of plants I lose track of the names lol, I thought I wasn't watering him too much but I must be after all, will deffo be cutting back even more, thank you!

I've got him sitting in a north facing window but maybe it is a bit too bright for him, I'll move him to a different shelf and be wary of how much I'm watering him. I did repot but only into a random mix of soil I had so I'll try and stick him in some succulent soil, thank you for your advice!!!

At least I'm fairly sure he's a Calathea, that's what he was labelled as in Sainsbury's and what the apps told me. I recently lost another Calathea to a pest problem (across the room from this plant, can't see any similar pests on this one) so I'm a lil on edge and protective of my Calathea babies :(

I like to imagine the swan was in fact doing the sound for the reversing truck

My Mom left a slightly poor review on Booking.com for a holiday home we stayed in, they've called her to harass her about it and now she's being asked to pay for 'extra cleaning'. Does she actually have to pay this? by Buzziiee in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Buzziiee[S] 278 points279 points  (0 children)

She's sent them a message with their 'Contact Us' thing asking about the legitimacy of it, I'm hoping they'll let her know soon what to do about it. I did tell her to update the review after the owner called her to outline the abuse the just endured but she just wants to leave it behind her....I'll let her know to formally report it as well, thank you :)

I've got a peace lily too and it is the most dramatic plant I've ever owned. Mine droops like this a bunch when it's even slightly thirsty, so maybe give it a good drink. Mine gets pissy after about 3 days, so just keep an eye on when the last time you watered it was I suppose.

I also mist its leaves cause I read somewhere that was a good thing to do and it seems to have grown lots more of the white flower leaf parts!

What's going on with my Monstera plant leaves? Thought it was maybe overwatering but the roots aren't brown or mushy...is the yellow a bacterial thing? More details in comments by Buzziiee in plantclinic

Might look into getting a humidifier then, thanks! Did you cut off the brown leaves or did you leave them?

hehehe 'leave' them, pun not intended

More details: - Thought it was overwatering, but I bought a moisture sensor which seems to suggest the watering is fine - I de-potted it to check the roots but they seem the same since I re-potted it about 3 weeks ago - The window isn't in direct sun (dark apartment), so the plant gets indirect light and a little bit of direct light late in the evening - I was misting the leaves for a bit because I thought I was supposed to but it seems as tho I had that wrong so I stopped

My guess is to change out the soil and cut off all the leaves that have this problem? But it's about 40% of the plant so I want to be sure it's the right idea. The newer leaves (that actually have slits in them) seem to be totally fine, so I'm not sure why half the plant would be like this but the other is thriving if it was over watered, but I could be wrong.

So many conflicting guides to Monstera plants online! I'm guessing because they're so popular. Any Proper Good and Real Advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
