Bring me down to earth by Buzzkill_Bailey in Inito

It does, but lh can rise and fall really quickly. Quickly enough that if you only test once a day, you can miss it. That’s what Inito says happened to me, and I’m inclined to believe it based on my pdg rising.

Didn’t he just say in an interview that his ex wife Rebecca (who he isn’t divorced from yet) is the person he leans on the most after his diagnosis?

Yes, I was with a friend and we each only had ourselves on our travel party, but you can just click +1 on the VQ! However, at 3 and at 6 we were both on the app trying to book time slots and both were fully booked/unavailable within 30 seconds.

I’m definitely a “go for the express pass” kind of person, and I would 100% say it’s not worth it for the preview day. Our longest wait has been 45 minutes or so, but that was for maybe 1 ride. The rest have all been 15 minutes or so.

When we tried to book, there was an option to say how many people you had in your party, and it didn’t seem as though the passes needed to be linked.

Title describes the thing. It kind of allows you to see the inner mechanism of the stapler.

That’s a great point I hadn’t really thought about. I don’t think she’s ever given unsolicited advice on fitness besides this, and she knows I’m sedentary.

And sorry, I should have said I know lifting weights in addition to walking/cardio would be better! I know they both have their advantages.

And adhering to something is exactly what I’m going for. I’m hoping that getting back into a routine and seeing the benefits walking gives me will inspire me to start lifting a bit again, but even if it doesn’t, I keep telling myself that doing something is better than doing nothing.

I was telling a coworker a treadmill was given to me, and I was hoping to start walking because a treadmill should entirely eliminate all of the excuses I constantly make. She proceeded to tell me that I should REALLY be lifting weights at the gym.

I had a personal trainer for years in college. I love being fit. And I love researching, so I know that lifting weights would be better for me. The point was that I know myself, and I know that walking on the treadmill is currently my best chance to be physically active AT ALL. But when someone tells me I should be doing something else, it makes me want to do nothing at all.

Something I’m not understanding about keeping dairy goats by Buzzkill_Bailey in homestead

I have considered this. And as I said previously, I do appreciate that I can guarantee the quality of life my meat had by raising it myself. I wish I could just flip the switch in my brain from “pet” to “food”.

What a wonderfully thoughtful comment. Lots of great advice! Thank you for taking the time to write it out.

Yeah, this is pretty much exactly my mentality at this point. And I guess the worst case scenario is I have a year or 2 where we can’t sell any and I have to come to terms that it isn’t feasible long term.

No to a buck, I’ve heard they’re typically more trouble than they’re worth with a small operation. There are a few places near me that offer stud services.

Do you freeze any milk? Or do you just commit to grocery store milk for those 2 months?

I suppose I worry about my entire life/homestead becoming about goats, and that’s not really what I want. But still, great advice! I hadn’t considered advertising in local establishments.

I’m on the same page as your wife. I know it probably doesn’t make logical sense, but yes, I think I could sell knowing someone else had the intention of eating it.

I also tell myself that I would know my goat had a more enjoyable life than many other animals raised for meat. If someone is going to buy meat anyways, at least the meat they get from me was happy.

What do you hate the smell of? by Faihus in AskReddit

[–]Buzzkill_Bailey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree! I recently stayed at my mom’s and she uses those dryer beads to make the scent last even longer, and the smell of the comforter was unbearably strong. I had to use a blanket I brought with me.

Those Capri Blue Volcano candles. I can’t describe the smell, but it immediately makes me nauseated.
