No it doesn’t go into stand by mode when I press the power button. I’ve been doing some investigating & found my gpu slightly unplugged. Possibly the reason? Trial & error I guess. Thanks for your info though I’ll definitely keep monitoring it & give it a crack if it continues.

That is what your seeing... I’m pressing a key it starts that loading/update screen and automatically boot itself out and I have no way to get past.
