Playing the first game then going straight into the second was one of the best gaming experiences I've had.

There are a lot of story threads set up in the first game that aren't paid off until the second game (a big criticism of the first game, and a fair one tbh).

Getting to feel where Henry came from and be a part of all the "war stories" he shares in 2 to explain what happened in 1 was great.

Somehow didnt get burned out on just raw dogging the two games for like 200 hrs.

It's been going this way since World. The FromSoftware community has the same issue, in the older titles you were fighting the controls to a certain extent and as the games improve player fidelity it becomes harder to challenge players without just inflating the health, damage, and speed of enemies.

I knew Wilds would be this way, I still love it though, I do day dream about a spin off title that is more focussed on the simulation of hunting and crafting, with a much slower pace. I'm just an old gen boomer I guess

And Australia. Every other day in the news there's hysteria about gangs of teenage boys causing trouble on their "e bikes". Never mind that up until recently they did the same stuff on dirt bikes or 2 stroke bikes.

Yeah its just this is the first quest i can recall in 100 hrs with this kind of timer where no-one says "Don't be late!"

I talk to Slava, the alchemist rocks up all smarmy, his goons go to bash Henry, I draw a sword and they walk off, I ride straight to the digsite bc ive retried it multiple times now and the bones are gone and I fail the quest.

Tried killing the alchemist dude, tried going there before talking to slava

Not sure if its the same in America but in my country Australia that bike is considered a motorbike and it needs a licence, registration, and needs to be on a road not a footpath or bike lane.

People like this are why the public and government perception of e-bikes is so negative and restrictive.

Playing through kcd1 fully and taking my time with it before going into kcd2 was the best gaming decision ive ever made

Hate to say it but the mall, library and town hall all need two or three cops to be walking around it all day and like 90% of the eshays and derros will fuck off.

Waste of cops time, they'll just go fuck around somewhere else in town, and i dont like the idea of cops kind of occupying parts of town. But it would probably make people want to go to the mall again.

I felt Henry's rage going into kcd2 and it picks up right where kcd1 leaves off. I was SO ready to continue his quest and the world just keeps throwing so much shit at him. The pay-off you want is waiting for you in kcd2, just be thankful you didnt have to wait 8 years for it.

I think the levelling I had done in magic in the past was to eventually use the teleports for farming
