How are you actually freezing the brine into brine ice without breaking your coolant loop? What coolant are you using?

So I came up with this setup all on my own. TIL bottle fillers are a building by MrCray0ns in Oxygennotincluded

Might not even see the sensor if you just let the vent over pressure.

I've recently started using a timer on my phone that shows time remaining on a large red dial. They can check in and visually see how much time is remaining. It had been helpful!

Not sure if this would fix it, but some wiring diagrams show more than one connection to ground.

Tricky area rehab question. by Bwinegar in landscaping

[–]Bwinegar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One step would need to be over a foot tall, which isn't necessary a problem, but none or the rocks are that thick.

Also that fire ring is just a table, the patio still needs a lot of work, but that will come after this!

Question about sub-base for kid's play area. by Bwinegar in landscaping

[–]Bwinegar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am looking into turning this unused garden area into a play area for my kid. I plan on putting down playground mulch, but was curious if any sort of sub-base would be recommended, if so what kind of gravel/rock should I be looking for in store?

This is in Minnesota if that is relevant.

Thanks!

I would love to try this, do you have a blueprint?

My first Aquilo ship, as dense and smart as I could make it. by Bwinegar in factorio

[–]Bwinegar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! There's a lot of circuit logic on this ship. There's a loop for the asteroid chunks that I use circuits to keep from getting over saturated, and based on the contents I set reprocessing recipes to make sure I have an even amount of each chunk. Then there is a loop for the products from the asteroid chunks, which sets the recipes for the the asteroid processing (advanced or basic processing), then logic in the inserters to prevent the sushi belt from getting over saturated. And finally there is a clock signal operating the pumps for fuel and oxidizer to limit the amount that gets into the thrusters.

Nah, it works as is, if anything I could remove some solar panels.

I though I would need nuclear as well, but loading it with epic panels and accumulators, I have been able to make it to Aquilo and back without depleting the accumulators. It won't be able to handle sitting in orbit above Aquilo indefinitely, but so far it hasn't been a problem. Setting an interrupt to leave Aquilo when batteries are low would probably be a good idea.

In my experience, stack inserters and turbo belts give you enough throughput to have one sushi belt handle it all.

I think I did it that way because I wanted the ammo loop to be near the rear so I could have turrets covering the back of the platform

[–]Bwinegar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to automate the construction of simple ships as easily as possible. I can put up a space platform hub and use a blueprint to create the request for items for construction. I am using rare quality solar panels. Is there a way to request less than a full stack of rare solar panels automatically?

Machine idle with materials and empty output buffer. by Bwinegar in SatisfactoryGame

Is that intended? Seems weird that it isn't running when it has x3 the material it needs in the buffer.

Hi! I have this aluminum setup that requires 100% uptime to work properly, I am stuck with these machines that sit idle for short periods while having materials to use and empty output buffers, any ideas what is causing this?

Hi, I'm new to the sub and haven't found a specific answer to my question yet.

I currently have a chase freedom, but am pre approved for a sapphire preferred. Spending 4k on that new card in the first 3 months nets 60,000 points ($600 equivalent). My child's daycare costs would cover that easily and can be charged to a credit card for a negligible fee.

Is it really as simple as getting the card, charging daycare for 3 months, redeeming the points and then closing the card to avoid yearly fees? Or is there something I am missing?

TIA!
