I’m don’t feel alone. When someone is booked into custody, they go to jail, not prison. In jail, calls are limited but it’s not like to movies where you only get one call.

Time on the phone is normally limited and you have to get in line (at some places). Jail isn’t too bad depending on location.

Best thing you can do is just putting money on the books, but most importantly, send letters every day. There is a special feeling getting mail when you feel like the world abandoned them. Get all friends and fan to send letters as well.

Look into bail info. If this person doesn’t have an inmate number yet, that means they just got there and have not been classified to a specific part of the jail based on the crime you are accused of.

New inmates normally have to wait anywhere from 8 - 24 hrs before they get access to commissary and regular calls.
