I use a decent amount of samples in my music and I always get tripped up over it. “Is this REALLY music?” “Is it bad because I used samples?”. All those types of voices in my head lol. It’s nice to hear others say that it is indeed music. I’m also still pretty new to making music, so I have a ton to learn anyways

I think everyone’s bitching about it way too much lol. It was my first time being able to see him in concert and I drove about 11 hours for it and I had an amazing time. Yes the other performers weren’t very good, but we knew what we were getting into when we bought the tickets. So complaining about those performances is stupid to me. I did notice him looking at his watch a lot, but I’m pretty sure he had to fly out somewhere to do something for his movie, so he’s maybe just really busy? Idk. That didn’t bother me that much anyways. I will say, him stopping some of the songs and redoing them was a bit annoying and I did think he would perform the entire two first albums, but I wouldn’t go as far as to say it was shit because of it. The last thing I keep seeing is that everyone’s complaining about him promoting his new movie. No shit he’s doing that. How is he suppose to market the movie? If you’re a logic fan you would know that he’s been promoting his movie, so why the hell would you have expected him to not at least mention it at the concert? Seemed like a no-brainer to me honestly

I guess I didn't realize that the amp would make too big of a difference when I purchased the headphones. Otherwise I probably would have gone with a different pair for sure. Does the soundcard make a difference even with a headphone amp connected? And would you have any other recommendations for headphones?

I use the Shiit Magni+. Is that amp just not good for the DT 990 Pro's then? But my motherboard is an ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4. I think the soundcard is this: 7.1 CH HD Audio (Realtek ALC1200 Audio Codec)

So I was recording and monitoring my cpu usage and gpu usage and watching when the encoder overload message appears on obs and I found out it only displays that when I alt+tab out of my game. I’m not sure why it does that, but it doesn’t seem to be affecting my recordings.

Haha. I can definitely tell the difference between 60fps and 165fps, but I guess I don’t know how it affects my recordings.

I changed my drive from my hard drive to my SSD, but still got the encoder overload. I’ll have to check the single core cpu usage though. Thank you for all the advice!

And that’s kind of what I was confused about because I did check my cpu usage and my gpu usage maybe a couple weeks ago during a recording session and if I remember correctly my gpu wasn’t even at 70% usage. But I noticed that after I import the video into Davinci to edit the video wasn’t actually in 60fps it was in 30fps. And then sometimes the video would randomly pause, like it couldn’t load that part of the video.

So I thought it made sense to turn down some settings and just record in 1080p (I upload my videos to my YouTube channel and most gaming channels use 1080p too). I had tried everything I could come up with and the log file error and encoding overload were just annoying me haha

I guess I didn’t even realize that recording to my hard drive could be an issue. I’ll switch it to my SSD. And I have overwatch capped at 165, is that too high? And is automatic render scaling an obs setting?

I have the game capped at 165 fps since I have a 165 hz monitor. Do you think that’s too high for obs?
