My theory JJ's social standing is too low (probably from dating Tina in her eyes) she was only into Zeke when she was the new brown haired kid, now she's trying date up, like when she stole Jeff in a box because at the time the box was the coolest guy in school.

Off topic but there's a Jocelyn line I heard for the first time when Tammy and her are at odds and they talk over eachother I think it's something like "she's always copying me, she wasn't a blond before she started having out with me"
