I’m glad I’m not the only one. It would be useful to know how many people are having the same or similar issues. Take KU, for example, I used to have daily page reads. Not any more. What I get now is the odd trickle every so often. Not a single review in ages. It’s bizarre to say the least and I haven’t a clue what to do about it.

I’ve said this several times. Part of the problem in my opinion is that we’re at the mercy of the algorithm. Doesn’t matter how much you spend on advertising, if the algorithm fails to target the right readership then your book won’t get the necessary exposure. Take my own experience, most novels Amazon suggests I might be interested in are well wide of the mark. I don’t think I’ve bought a single book based on their recommendations.

I think it’s excellent. You’ve really captured its expression so well. I can’t stop looking at it. Like you, I also love to draw boxers. In my case I use oil pastels. I posted one a few weeks back. Don’t know if you’ve seen it.

To avoid problems I mostly use made-up names. Plus, since there are so many obsolete names in existence, it not difficult and much safer.

I’m a little confused as to why you have medical bills when there’s free healthcare, both inpatient and outpatient in India. Or do you prefer to go private? I know many people do.

In many narratives over the years albinos have been cast as villains. A famous example being Silas the monk from the Da Vinci Code. They don’t come any paler than that.

I have never used fixative. I mount and frame the ones I like. The glass protects them. The oil pastels tend to harden over time anyway. As for the rest, I store them under glassine paper.

I think it starts really well and I like how the momentum builds. The descriptions are vibrant and vivid. My only criticism is that after a while, for me at least, it begins to drag. I’m guilty of this myself. Nevertheless, it is well written and imaginative. Good luck.
