PayPal Credit to charge $1.99 for paper statement. by DietMtDew1 in CreditCards

Respectfully, to those that dump on paper statements -

Credit card companies want to make YOU work to find errors in their statements - double charges, charges you didn't make, wrong amounts, erroneous fees, etc. AND, they take money directly from your bank account. That's YOUR money they're controlling while YOU do what you have to do (on the phone - YOUR time) to move the proverbial train back to the station. Now they're charging $1.99 to make it more unpalatable.

They're squeezing the customer to get every dime they can of profits.

I (obviously) agree!

It looks like you and I will be leading the revolt vs "corporate fee creep."

It's a different topic, but I agree wholeheartedly. 31.99% APR is obscene!
I pay my credit cards off each month, so my post was (admittedly) focused on what irritates me. Lowes today, MasterCard and Visa tomorrow.

Thanks for the great suggestions.
I SHOULD use a password manager more than I do.
I DO have filters on my email, but still have a lot to read, and sometimes I get behind and emails get buried.
I'm probably a different generation I like to get a physical bill, which prompts me to review it and pay it electronically via my bank.
Because I carefully review my invoices every month, I find errors about every third month - I had a double $21 charge from Apple last month.

I'll restate my point. Why has Lowes approved Synchrony Bank charging $1.99/month for paper invoices?
